1. Ring binding
2. Front cover:
   • Research title with less than 15 words (based on UTM title
      guideline)
   • Program of study (i.e: MPPA/ MPPB/ MPPC etc.)

3. Do Not Type any identification like your name and supervisor
   (s) name anywhere in your report (for blind evaluation
   purpose)
4. Blue front cover
5. Please include all relevant materials related to your research
   (eg: module, instrument, courseware (cd))

Regulations and Guidelines

Compulsory to follow prescribed format in the
thesis manual
Attendance : regular meetings with supervisor
is a must.

Attendance and commitment is part of
assessment.

Plagiarism – students can be penalized for
plagiarism.
Submission of RSII report to the faculty must be
within the assigned date.

Faculty have the right to reject late submission

ü   Not too long.
ü   The title must not be far from your RS2 title.

ü Must be explained in a simple and a compact form.

ü Discuss the research findings based on the research questions.
ü Give your opinion. Why are the findings obtained as they are?
ü Need to have support and justification from the literature review. Avoid from just writing …
  “the literature review is aligned with the research findings …
ü Or “the research findings supports the research of …”
ü Creativity is needed in writing the discussion.

ü   Prepare a simple conclusion about the

Ø   Check turn-it-in. Make sure that the similarity index < 20%
Ø   The length of the article is usually less than 20 pages.
Ø   Submit the article to your supervisor. Don’t submit it with the final draft of your
    RSII report at the academic office.

Ø You may edit the article based on comments given by you supervisor and your RSII
  examiner.
Ø Submit the final manuscript in .doc format through e-project system
