2019 CEO of the Year selection process
The 2019 CEO of the Year winners in all categories will be chosen by the award-
winning Report on Business editorial team, which comprises the finest business
journalists in Canada. By drawing on their deep industry and market knowledge,
shrewd analytical capabilities and unbiased perspective, these writers and editors will
nominate, debate, vet and vote for winners in each category.
To be named a winner, a CEO must lead a Canadian company, or the Canadian arm of
an international corporation. Their companies can be public or private. In special
cases, not-for-profit organizations, industry associations or academic institutions
