participated in the first Hong Kong Sevens Tournament where 12 Teams & 3,000 avid fans created Rugby Sevens history. Turn the
clock forward 42 years to 2017 and 28 Teams from around the globe will play in front of 120,000 fans over three action-packed days

ZONE A: CAUSEWAY BAY area within 10-20 minutes-walk to Hong Kong Stadium. This is a vibrant shopping area around Times Square
through to nearby Wan Chai. You will find plenty of restaurants and cheap-eats, both Asian and Western. The views from hotels such
as The Excelsior and the Park Lane are stunning across Victoria Harbour to Kowloon and the New Territories. The MTR Subway servicing
this area is Causeway Bay. Staying in this area is very convenient to the Stadium.
ZONE B: Other hotels on HONG KONG ISLAND. Some are still within walking distance. It’s a 30-35 minutes-walk from hotels in Wan
Chai or from the hotels in Fortress Hill/North Point. The MTR stations travelling East from Causeway Bay are; Tin Hau, Fortress Hill,
North Point and Quarry Bay. In the Westerly direction they are; Wan Chai, Admiralty, Central, Sheung Wan and Sai Ying Pun. All our
Zone B hotels are within this key transport area. On Hong Kong Island there are many shopping, sightseeing attractions and night-life
areas such as Wan Chai, Lan Kwai Fong and Soho near Central. Any Zone B hotels make it easy to get around.
ZONE C: All hotels in this zone are in KOWLOON. Travelling from Admiralty to the Kowloon side the first stop is Tsim Sha Tsui (TST).
Most of our hotels are within easy walking distance of and right in the heart of TST with the only exception being the Eaton, which is
one stop further near Jordan MTR in bustling Nathan Road. The Kowloon side of the harbour is fascinating and where most of the
markets are such as Ladies Market, the Flower Market, the Gold Fish Market and more. You can also travel across to Central from TST
on the famous Star Ferry making your trip to the Sevens even more memorable. Zone C is great for shopaholics!

For anyone switching to Cathay Pacific at any time there is an additional fare of around $190 per person (this may vary +/-).
In many cases with that fare you can also FLY FREE beyond Hong Kong to a range of destinations in China, Japan,
Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand. Simply let us know your departure city and where you wish to travel to on what
dates. Our fly-free offer is based on booking land content at your destination with Events Worldwide Travel (min 2

Travel Documents & Tickets: At the latest 2 weeks prior to the Event our team will email: flight e-tickets, transfer vouchers, merchandise
voucher and your hotel check-in voucher. We will also send the match tickets via registered mail or courier.
Ticket Collection option: The Ticket Collection point location and hours will be advised when you receive your travel documents by
email. Match tickets cannot be replaced under any circumstances You can opt to collect tickets in Hong Kong if you find it difficult to
receive a courier or collect registered mail in Australia.
All tickets need to be collected with photo I.D.
Our match tickets are guaranteed under license to Hong Kong Rugby.
