Friday, June 11th: Senior Graduation – T-Mobile Park, 1:00pm

We are very excited to announce that we can return to T-Mobile for our graduation ceremonies this
year! The T-Mobile staff there will be opening additional entrances and creating socially distanced pods
       for seating around the stadium.

Graduation will also be livestreamed for those who cannot attend, in-person.

Students and their guests will be assigned seating, determined by the preferences submitted in the
RSVP form that went out to seniors and families of seniors as an email message and a Canvas message
the morning of Friday, May 7th.

       Seating/Ticketing:
We have paid to expand our seating to the upper level so we can accommodate more guests but all the
graduates need to be seated in the lower level to walk across the stage to get their diplomas. It is
possible guests will be in the upper level and their graduates will be in the lower level.

T-Mobile has arranged their seats into pods, based on their season ticket holders, which results in
various sizes of pods. We will need to assign seats based on these parameters. Once we receive the
surveys and the number of seats you are requesting, we will let you know by May 21st if we are not able
to accommodate the number of seats you requested. The seating group pod sizes vary from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
or 6 seats together (see model here – yellow boxes are seat pods)

Examples of how we may arrange seating (used from IHS)
Class of 2021 - Skyline High School Graduation Timeline & Senior Events - Skyline High School Graduation Timeline ...
- Example A: 1 Graduate sits with 1 Graduate (2-seater pod) and then both Graduates' 2 guests sit
    together (4-seater pod)
- - Example B: 1 Graduate sites with their 3 guests if we are able to accommodate extra tickets (4-seater
    pod)

This will be incredibly tight for us to fit everyone with these seating limitations, so we are not able to
accommodate special requests like friend groupings, or inquiries of the status of additional guests or
    edits to your requests

    Transportation
Due to the difficulty of socially distancing 520+ seniors on school buses, we are asking families to get
their graduates to the stadium this year by transporting themselves. Please email Namrata Budhiraja
(budhirajan@issaquah.wednet.edu) if you have any questions or concerns about transportation for the
    Graduation event.

    Parking
Click here for driving instructions to T-Mobile Park or go to the Mariners website for more information.

In the past, T-Mobile Park typically charges about $10/car, but this year we will have guests park for
free. “Because things are not normal as in the past, we wanted to celebrate the families and welcome
them to our park with a little perk for this year only.”

Each level of the garage has disabled parking (most designated spaces are on the 2nd level).
If a member of your family needs special seating (for
someone who is in a wheelchair), plan to arrive at T-
Mobile Park by 12:15pm. and proceed to parking
level 5 for the ADA sky bridge and find a T-Mobile
host. Please note that very few wheelchairs are
available at T-Mobile Park and guests needing
wheelchairs are encouraged to bring their own.

The Home Plate, Left Field, and Right field entrances
will be open. Please enter the stadium using these
guidelines to make sure we are distributing the
crowds:

Sections (Coming soon) ___ - ___: Left Field entrance
Sections (Coming soon) ___ - ___: Right Field
entrance
Sections (Coming soon) ___ - ___: Home Plate
entrance

Graduation event procedures
Students will still be ushered from their seats onto
the field to walk across the stage and receive their
diploma cover. The program details are still being
worked out with our limited time frame, but we are
putting the students first. We are preserving our
student speakers and student musical performances
and cutting adult speeches. The most important part
is that students will still walk and have their name read.

T-Mobile rules and regulations for the event:

o You must wear a mask for the entire event, while in the Stadium.
o This year unfortunately no bags are allowed in the stadium (clutch purses no larger than 4.5” x
6.5” permitted. Diaper bags, accompanied by children, will be permitted as long as they are
       single compartment and 16” x 16” x 8”)
o Also prohibited: Any wrapped items (such as wrapped presents), professional still or video
cameras, balloons/inflatable objects, drones, aerosol cans, alcoholic beverages, audio recording
devices, baseball bats/brooms/sticks/poles, noisemakers, hard sided coolers,
metal/ceramic/glass containers cans or bottles, signs or banners with non-sporting messages,
luggage, illegal substances, firecrackers or fireworks, weapons of any kinds, selfie sticks, tripods,
monopods, laser pointers, outside food or beverages (one bottle of water permitted - 32 oz or
       less), animals (service animals permitted).
o Cameras are allowed, but not full camera bags.
o Seniors should report to the stadium dressed appropriately for the ceremony. Proper attire for
graduates is semi-formal; no jeans, tennis shoes, or flip-flops. Caps and gowns are required.
o No decorations of any kind will be allowed on gowns (except for school-issued honor cords,
medals, and stoles). No facial decorations, beach balls, balloons, pranks, etc.
o Seniors WILL be allowed to decorate their graduation caps. Nothing should be raised (flat décor
only), nothing offensive and the decorations should celebrate hopes, dreams, passions,
aspirations, and future plans and be entirely in good taste.
o Concession stands will NOT be open.
o Guests are reminded to turn off cell phones during the ceremony.
o Please wait until after the ceremony to present flowers to graduates. Balloons are not allowed
               inside T-Mobile Park.

       Name Reading
Usually, we have students fill out an index card with their full name, followed by the phonetic spelling of
of their name, with a dash between each syllable to hand to the name readers at the stage, when they
walk up. Please bring an index card with you to the event with this ready to hand to the name reader.

For instance, famous Broadway actress and Frozen singer would be:

       Idina Menzel
       (Uh-dee-nuh Muhn-zell)

       Graduation Pictures
There will not be an opportunity inside T-Mobile Park before or after the ceremony to take staged
pictures with the graduates, as we will need folks to move to their seats and stay there through the
duration of the ceremony and leave immediately after.

There are great photo spots just opposite the stadium. Graduates will have individual pictures taken by
Grad Images as they receive their diplomas. The proofs will be mailed to you after the ceremony or can
be found on the Grad Images website.
