Open House
Oranienburgerstrasse 32
The collection of Ulrich Seibert focuses on Pop-Surrealism, Pop-Comic- Heckmannhöfe
Surrealism and Lowbrow. The very specific collection of Ulrich Seibert is Vorderhaus 1. OG
clearly a niche. Being asked: “What are you collecting?” the answer by (do not enter the couryard)
Ulrich Seibert is: “It‘s hard to explain. You‘ll know it when you see it.” Anyway, 10117 Berlin
this is something rather rare in Berlin. No conceptual art, no gestural ab-
straction, no rough brush. The stuff is colorful, figurative, bizarre, slightly post@collection-seibert.art
surreal and many of the artists come from the West Coast. And yes: art
should be fun. Artists include: Terry Rodgers, Ron English, David Nicholson, Entrance: free
Jana Brike, Ray Caesar, Julie Heffernan, Uwe Henneken, John Isaacs, Travis
Louie, Djordje Ozbolt, Marion Peck and Kenny Scharf.
