What else can we do
for our children?
Help make the world more sustainable?
And our portfolio too?
For some of life’s questions, you’re not alone.
Together we can find an answer.
The value of investments may fall as well as rise and you may not get back the amount originally invested.
Sustainable investing strategies aim to incorporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into investment process and portfolio construction.
Strategies across geographies and styles approach ESG analysis and incorporate the findings in a variety of ways. The returns on portfolios consisting primarily of
sustainable investments may be lower or higher than portfolios where ESG factors, exclusions, or other sustainability issues are not considered, and the investment
opportunities available to such portfolios may also differ. As a firm providing wealth management services to clients, UBS Financial Services Inc. offers investment
advisory services in its capacity as an SEC-registered investment adviser and brokerage services in its capacity as an SEC-registered broker-dealer. Investment advisory
services and brokerage services are separate and distinct, differ in material ways and are governed by different laws and separate arrangements. It is important that
clients understand the ways in which we conduct business, that they carefully read the agreements and disclosures that we provide to them about the products or
services we offer. For more information, please review the PDF document at ubs.com/relationshipsummary. © UBS 2021. All rights reserved. UBS Financial Services

Crisis As Catalyst We are finally here. Bringing over 600 people and organisations to stand together in the face of sobering realities, and in celebration of each other’s innovation and leadership. The intersecting crises of COVID, of racial justice and its manifestations around the world, of climate, and of the economic dislocation that many are facing, have created a perfect storm. In this time of crisis, we have demonstrated that old systems can change faster than people think, that resilience comes from many places, and that finance can and must play a role in the constellation of solutions for positive change. Gender – and broader diversity – are now a greater factor of risk and opportunity, whether in global health and access to finance, or digital equity and the future of work. So what now? As we look at the power of gender balance and equity – in both the investment value chain and decision-making processes, we have a tremendous opportunity to learn from each other, to challenge each other, and to share our ambition and experience. It is in that spirit that we have evolved GenderSmart to meet this new age. We have grown from a small team focused on producing this Global Summit to a robust organisation and platform that still leverages this forum as our flagship programme and a unique galvanising force, but that does so while facilitating a wide range of partnerships, research projects, and communities of practice, each of which is designed to fill unique gaps in the global ecosystem. As always, our work is fuelled by the initiatives, contributions, and insights of our global community of leaders. More than ever, our shared humanity and our relationships are a source of strength. However impactful our work may be alone, true, transformative, and sustainable change really becomes possible when we tilt our siloes onto their sides, and turn them into pipelines. Thank you to our Advisory Council, our supporters, our more than 150 speakers, moderators, and conversation starters, our team, and to all of you for bringing this work forward. It is our privilege to be here with all of you. INVESTING IN WOMEN
RISE FUND
A COVID-19 Response
and Resilience Mechanism
Investing in Women launched the RISE Fund–Responsive Interventions Supporting Entrepreneurs–to inject
catalytic capital for women-led small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the South East Asian region. The fund offsets
COVID-19 impacts on women-owned and women-led businesses and provides much needed liquidity in a capital-
constrained market. Macquarie Group Foundation joined forces with Investing in Women to scale this initiative in
the Philippines. Through the RISE Fund and other blended finance instruments, Investing in Women aims to mobilise
AUD 60 million of investments in women-led businesses through 11 fund managers in the region.
“
Closing the gender gap for access to capital will build more resilient and
inclusive economies in South East Asia during the critical recovery period.

Selina Nwulu: Poet in Residence
Selina Nwulu is a writer, poet and essayist with
a commitment to social and climate justice. Her poetry
and essays have been widely published in a variety
of journals, short films and anthologies including the
critically acclaimed anthology New Daughters of Africa.
She has just finished her first full length collection
of poems and is a finalist for the Arts Award UK
Environmental Award.
Loa Myst
Marushka is a Polynesian Croatian singer/songwriter
(also known as ‘Loa Myst’) whose music tells timeless
stories of healing, resilience and courage. She has worked
with Grammy Award winning creatives worldwide, played
legendary historic venues and toured with musical
pioneers from America to Europe and Africa.
Rising Appalachia
Rising Appalachia is an American folk music group led
by multi-instrumentalist sisters Leah Song and Chloe
Smith. Leah also performs as a solo artist. Based between
Southern Appalachia and New Orleans, the sisters
work with an array of international musicians, creating
a mix of world, folk and soul music. The sisters want
their art to also be a source of activism, as well as of
cultural development, and spend time advocating
for social justice, racial justice, environmental justice,
and indigenous rights.
Soul Family
The Soul Family Band, fronted by MOBO nominated
vocalist, Natalie Williams, is joined by an incredible group
of regular singers who are all artists in their own right.
They’re usually playing sold-out residencies at London’s
Ronnie Scotts, but for the GenderSmart Investing Summit,
there’s an intimate acoustic performance featuring Vula
Malinga, Sharlene Hector, and Robin Mullarkey on bass.
Clockwise from top: Rising Appalachia, Loa Myst, Soul Family,
Selina Nwulu.
