Choose from 9 distinct weeks of summer family vacation. Each week features a different speaker
and mission organization. (Review dates and speaker information in the following pages;
also available at gulllake.org/spiritual-growth).
Your all-inclusive vacation includes 6 nights, 11 chef-crafted meals, and unlimited activities.
Check in at 3 p.m. Saturday and check out by 9 a.m. Friday.
2. Select your favorite accommodation.
Explore condo, lodge, and cottage offerings at gulllake.org/accommodations. Take a virtual tour
and select your favorite.
3. Collect important information.

The head of each family attending.
Date of birth for each child attending and grade each child will be entering in the fall.

We ask for 25% of the accommodation rate to reserve your lodging of choice.

The price of a Gull Lake Ministries all-inclusive vacation depends upon 3 variables:
accommodation selection, meal plan, and the number of individuals attending.
The price for a family of four, including 11 chef-crafted meals, starts as low as $2,132!

Housing Options With all of the housing options we offer, you are sure to find accommodations that meet the needs of your family. The lodging package includes full activity access for each guest (based upon lodging occupancy selection). Options include cottages, condo units, and lodge style housing. CONDO UNITS We have a total of 50 rooms in nine separate condo units, four of which are lakeside. These beautifully decorated facilities rival the quality and amenities found at many resorts. Each condo unit offers a large great room featuring a living room (most with gas fireplaces), dining table, and some kitchen facilities. They offer three to nine separate overnight rooms, each with a private bath and space for two to eight guests in king, queen, twin, or bunk beds. LODGES Our lodges have family-oriented guest rooms; each with a private bath, a king or queen bed and one or two bunk beds, some have a lake view. The lodges also have a large common area kitchen as well as dining area and great room for gatherings. COTTAGES Gull Lake Ministries has comfortable and cozy cottages, each with two to six overnight rooms, that make great “homes away from home.” Free-standing and private, with full kitchen facilities, living and dining areas, and full baths. PHIL TUTTLE Missions: Kids Alive
Phil Tuttle has taught God’s Word throughout the world in churches,
Jun Bible conferences, Christian education conventions and corporate

gatherings. He is the author of Raise Up a Child and Crucible: The Choices
11-17 that Change Your Life Forever. He is also deeply involved in his home
church, The Bridge, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where he serves as one of
the teaching pastors. Phil and his wife, Ellen, have two children.
CHRIS ZARBAUGH Missions: Journey of a Joyful Life
Chris is the Lead Teaching Pastor at Heritage Church in Sterling Heights,
Jun Michigan. He has been a Pastor for 30 years and has been married almost

as long. Chris and Liz have three adult children. Chris has had many rolls
18-24 throughout his ministry career. Youth and Family ministry has always been
his favorite thing to be a part of. Chris especially has a passion to reach
those who are far from God.
MARVIN WILLIAMS Missions: Mission India
Pastor Marvin Williams is the lead pastor of Trinity Church in Lansing,
Jun 25 Michigan. Prior to receiving the call to serve at Trinity Church, Pastor

Marvin served in several pastoral capacities in the Grand Rapids area.
Marvin has written devotionals for Our Daily Bread Ministries, was a
-Jul 1 contributor to Scott Williams’ book, Church Diversity, and has spoken
at numerous retreats and conferences. Pastor Marvin Williams blogs at
marvinlwilliams.com Pastor Marvin Williams, with his wife Tonia and three
children — Marvin Jr., Micah, and Mikayla — live in Haslett, Michigan.
DAVE PATTY Missions: Josiah Venture
Dave Patty is the founder and president of Josiah Venture, a mission
Jul organization focused on training next-generation leaders throughout Eastern
WEEK 4
Europe. Dave has lived with his family in the Czech Republic for 26 years,
2-8 and is well-known in the region for his practical Bible teaching. A second-
generation missionary, Dave was born in the Philippines and served in
Germany before launching what has become one of the largest leadership
training organizations in Central and Eastern Europe.
JACK NAPIER Missions: TACTICA Ministries
In spite of being named after a famous whiskey, Jack Daniel Napier has
Jul been called to a life of sobering inspiration. Jack aims to make relevant truth

come alive in the heart and mind. Not raised in a Christian home, God saved
9-15 him as a teenager and he went on to earn degrees in Biblical Studies and
Business. Jack serves as lead pastor of Grace Community Church in Newton,
Kansas, residing with his wife and five rambunctious children.
PETER REID Missions: Grace Gardens
Peter serves as the General Director of Torchbearers International, a
Jul missions fellowship founded by Major Ian Thomas at Capernwray Hall,

England. He also serves as Director of the Bodenseehof, one of the
16-22 Torchbearers' centers, located in southern Germany. He is engaged in an
itinerant teaching ministry in Germany and abroad. He and his wife Gaby
have two adult children and live in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
JEFF MANION Missions: Cure International
Jeff Manion (jeffmanion.org) is the senior pastor of multi-campus Ada
Jul Bible Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he has served for over

thirty five years. He is the author of The Land Between, Satisfied and,
23-29 Dream Big, Think Small. His great joy is digging deeply into Scripture and
passionately teaching the story of the Bible in a clear and relevant way. He
and his wife, Chris, have three adult children and are proud grandparents.
DR. TODD AHREND Missions: World Gospel Mission
Dr. Todd Ahrend graduated from Northeastern State University, has a
Jul 30 Masters from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctorate from Gordon-

Conwell Theological Seminary. He is the founder and international
-Aug 5 Director of The Traveling Team, a national missions mobilization
movement. He and his wife, Jessica, have spent over two decades
traveling both nation-wide and abroad, speaking to thousands of people
about involvement in world evangelization. Todd has exposure in over
sixty countries and has lived in the Middle East. He is the author of The
Abrahamic Revolution and In This Generation. Todd and Jessica have six
children: Camden, Brody, Axel, Noble, Quincy and Cruz!
BRADY NEMMERS Missions: East West Ministries
Brady serves as the lead teaching pastor of Keystone Community Church
Aug in Ada, MI. He is passionate about communicating the story of God
WEEK 9
in a way that is relevant, engaging and applicable. A graduate of the
6-12 University of Michigan and Western Theological Seminary, Brady is an
avid Wolverine fan, coffee drinker, and home improvement aficionado.
He lives in Ada with his amazing wife Sarah Anne, four boys, two cats,
and a boxer named Hazel.

1!Retreats Our Christian retreat center is located in southwest Michigan and offers the facilities, equipment, and support staff to make any event a success! From small, day meetings to large, week-long events, Gull Lake Ministries has the entirety of your needs covered. Meeting spaces range from casual living environments with expansive gas fireplaces to rooms with panoramic lake views to corporate-style meeting spaces. Most meeting spaces offer wireless Internet and can be easily customized to suit your specific needs. MEETING SPACE & TECHNOLOGY Your next retreat starts at one of the best Christian retreat centers in the Midwest! We have a host of meeting spaces for small groups all the way up to large conferences of 700. Groups with a minimum of 20 overnight guests will receive their meeting space at no charge. Additional spaces beyond the complimentary room are available. Meeting spaces are assigned to retreat groups based upon availability and need. All of our meeting environments possess a variety of audio/visual capabilities, from a single-wired microphone to full sound systems with microphones, laptop compatible projectors or TVs, and Mp3 hookups. In our largest meeting room, a 40 foot by 10 foot high definition video LED Wall may be available. ACCOMMODATIONS If you are planning a multi-day event in Michigan, our Christian retreat center offers a variety of overnight accommodations for groups from 10 to 400! Accommodation bookings include full use of our Ministry Center, featuring a large gym, game room, indoor rock climbing, bowling, fitness center, and more! Along with condos, lodges, and cottages, dorms are also available during our retreat season, August through May, these classic accommodations can sleep up to 16 people in bunkbeds and have large shared bathrooms. These housing units are ideal for youth retreats or those simply looking for a more rustic stay with a large group. MEALS THAT WILL SERVE ANY RETREAT GROUP Our Christian retreat center near Grand Rapids, Michigan, provides five-star fare in our waterfront dining room where our Executive Chef and the culinary team offers gourmet breakfast, lunch, and dinner created to please any palate. Our culinary team at our Christian resort in Michigan, is well versed in food allergies and dietary restrictions. We are delighted to accommodate your needs.
