Well-Trained and Energetic Staff: We take your child’s safety seriously. Our counse-
lors, camp staff and lifeguards are required to complete 40 hours of pre-camp training
including CPR, First Aid, AED and Child Abuse Prevention. We conduct background
checks and drug screenings on all camp staff and employees. Our counselors also
learn child development best practices as well as techniques to encourage all campers
to be inclusive and celebrate our differences.
Variety of Activities and Experiences: We focus on age-appropriate enrichment ac-
tivities, including games, arts and crafts and more. In order to meet the growing
diversity of our campers, each YMCA offers a broad variety of experiences to meet
their interests. From traditional camps to sports camps to an assortment of themed
camps, there is something sure to spark your child’s excitement and interest this sum-
mer!
Reputation in Community: At the Y, you’re not just a member of a facility; you’re part
of a cause, with a shared commitment to nurture the potential of youth, improve
health and well-being, to give back and support our neighbors. YMCA members enjoy
special pricing on programs and receive priority registration.
