The Wedding Ceremony
The hotel is licenced to hold both Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships
in six of its suites, allowing you the convenience of holding your entire
event in one location whether your ceremony is for 10 or 150 guests.

Moorgate Suite                     accommodates up to 45 guests

President Suite                    accommodates up to 45 guests

Atrium                             accommodates up to 60 guests

Park Suite                         accommodates up to 100 guests

Regency Suite                      accommodates up to 150 guests

Conservatory                       accommodates up to 80 guests

The Registrar is available seven days a week, including Bank Holidays with the
latest ceremony time being 4.00pm. Although you can make arrangements up
to 24 months in advance, there are a limited number of Registrars available
and many of the popular dates can be booked very early.

The Wedding Reception
The Carlton Park Hotel has banqueting suites suitable for a variety of
wedding celebrations, from the more intimate parties of 10 up to the larger
reception for 300.

Whatever the size and style of your event, our Wedding Co-ordinator can
help you choose the suite that is right for you.

And rest assured, you will receive the same care and attention to detail
whatever the size of your event.

Carlton Park Suite and Atrium
A popular choice for larger gatherings, the Carlton Park Suite is adorned by
traditional cherry panelling and features a built in dance floor and
integrated carvery unit.

The room accommodates up to 180 guests for a Wedding Breakfast and
adjoins the lounge which features a grand piano and Cocktail Bar.
Featuring a majestically sweeping aisle which looks out on our secluded
garden and patio area, the bright and airy Atrium Suite provides a
breathtaking setting for your Civil Ceremony.

The garden hosts an ornate Pergoda, ideal for making those important
photographs that bit more special.

Accommodation
Our 80 bedrooms are finished to an exceptionally high standard and feature
a 32” flat screen television, DVD player with movie rental service and WiFi
internet access, perfect for entertaining the young ones. Family rooms,
suites with sleigh beds and a disabled room can be pre-booked.

We always endeavour to provide a luxurious 4 Poster room on your wedding
night providing that you have booked one of our packages, however
upgrades are available including a ‘Romantic Package’.

The Spa at the Carlton Park
For the benefit of all wedding guests staying in
the hotel, our complimentary leisure club features
a swimming pool with resistance stream, relaxing
spa, sauna and steam room, all contained within
a Grecian style interior. The air-conditioned
gymnasium area, with 5 LCD televisions, boasts
cardio-vascular equipment including treadmills
                            and cross trainers.

concerning protocol, but even down to the decision to have a sit down banquet
or buffet, let alone what food and drink to choose.

We have the experience to guide you through these
decisions, offering not just answers to your questions
but plenty of ideas that will make your day memorable.

Detailed below are some of the more common
questions asked, together with some answers that will
help you plan your day.

How far in advance should I book our wedding?
As soon as you possibly can to avoid disappointment, as popular venues can get
booked up months in advance.

                            Where should the photographs be taken?
                            If you have chosen a church wedding, you may prefer
                            your photographs to be taken straight after the
                            ceremony. After a Civil Ceremony at a Registry Office
                            or elsewhere, you may decide to take your photographs
                            prior to the start of the reception. We are always happy
                            for you to do this on our premises as both function
                            rooms have their own private garden.

What about flowers on the day?
Very simple – the choice is yours. You can either provide your own or we can
recommend a florist.

Do you need to know the exact number of guests?
Yes, not only because this will ensure that we cater adequately for your guests but
also because there are legal limits to the number of people we are allowed to
accommodate in our rooms.

Who organises the order of events?
We will help you decide on the details including when to start the speeches and
toasts, cut the cake and begin the entertainment. There are always staff close at
hand to make certain everything runs according to plan.

Do we need wedding insurance?
Everyone is sure to agree that a wedding is well worth the cost, but it can prove
to be expensive. That is why insurance against possible difficulties for a number
of reasons really does make sense. This is highly recommended by the hotel and
details can be supplied upon request.

Should children be invited?
This can be one of the trickiest decisions. For many couples, children can
provide unwelcome distractions. For others, no day would be complete without
them. All we can say is that children are always welcome on our premises.

How much should we budget for food and drink?
We can meet most budgets - just tell us how many guests will be attending and
we will give you a range of menu options.
