A Peak District Venue to Remember Congratulations to you both on your fourth coming wedding and thank you to taking the time to consider The Newton House Hotel, Restaurant & Venue for your wedding celebrations. Newton House Hotel, Restaurant & Venue is located in a beautiful part of the Peak District known as Alsop En Le Dale, just outside of the market towns of Ashbourne and Buxton. Surrounded by exquisite views of the Peak National Park. The hotel can boast 25 luxurious rooms, including our Bridal Suite. Parking in our two large carparks is complimentary and available to all guests. The stylish Falconers Suite can comfortably accommodate up to 40 guests seated, and 80 guests for an evening reception, with the availability of our restaurant as an overflow in required. Our wedding coordinator and Head Chef will be at hand to discuss all of your ideas and requirements to make sure that your entire day goes without a hitch. We understand that all weddings are unique, therefore, this brochure is meant as a guide to help you create the best and most memorable day in your lives. We are open to suggestions and ideas. We are a blank canvas to help you build your perfect day. The package we have put together is a standard offer, but we are happy to bespoke anything that you require with regards to canapes, wedding breakfast menu, drinks packages, and evening food. Whatever you are looking for, Newton House Hotel, Restaurant & Venue can facilitate your requirements. We hold a license to perform civil ceremonies on site, either in house, or outside, weather permitting.
When you have decided to have your civil ceremony at Newton House Hotel, Restaurant & Venue, we would urge you to contact the Registrar’s office. The Bakewell office is contactable on 01629 535261. To secure the date you require, it is important that you do this as soon as possible. A fee will be required to be paid which they will advise you of. Non-Religious Ceremonies The Newton House Hotel, Restaurant & Venue is allowed to be a venue for non-religious ceremonies, and as such any readings, music, poetry, or performances which will form part of the ceremony must be secular. The content of the ceremony will be required to be discussed with the Registrar, that will be conducting the ceremony. Newton House Hotel, Restaurant & Venue Wedding Package Our wedding package is designed to simplify your choice of drinks, canapes and evening food. We are confident that our package offers something to suit most budgets, however, should you want to discuss alternative options; our Wedding Coordinator and Head Chef would be happy to discuss any bespoke requirements that you might want. We are a blank canvas, ready to help you build you special day. The package is for 40 day guests and a further 50 evening guests.

The £2000.00 Wedding Package
The package includes all of the following:

WE DO NOT SUPPLIY PHOTOGRAHERS, THIS IS THE RESPONSERBILLITY OF THE BRIDE & GROOM TO ARRANGE We can, however, offer advise via our wedding coordinator with regards to floral arrangements, that can be done in house.

A provisional booking can only be held for 14 days. A non-refundable deposit of £500.00 is required to secure your chosen date. On receipt of this, your booking will be confirmed in writing. A further 50% of the estimated total will be payable 12 weeks prior to the date of your wedding and is non-refundable. It is your responsibility to make sure that this payment is received by the confirmed due date. The final numbers, along with pre-order and remaining outstanding balance is required 30 days prior to your wedding date. All monies paid are non- refundable after this date. Should your “on the day numbers” not reach the provisionally booked amount, The Newton House Hotel, Restaurant & Venue reserves the right to charge for the full amount quoted. Prices quoted are correct at the time of printing. The Newton House Hotel, Restaurant & Venue reserves the right to alter the prices on food and drink due to unexpected price increases from our suppliers and changes in VAT. Any outstanding costs incurred during your wedding day must be paid in full on the day of departure. Cancellation Policy If the booking is cancelled more than 12 months before the wedding, the £500.00 deposit is lost. If the booking is cancelled 12 to 6 months before the wedding, there will be a charge 25% of the estimated costs. If the booking is cancelled 6 to 3 months before the wedding date, there will be a charge of 50% of the estimated costs. If the booking is cancelled less than 3 months before the wedding date, there will be a charge of 100% of the total costs.
