To Bolton School Weddings
A wedding in a school you may wonder? but we are no ordinary school, behind our
impressive entrance lies a truly wonderful wedding venue. Set in 32 acres of perfectly
manicured grounds our stunning buildings offer a unique se�ng for your special day.
We have been delivering spectacular weddings for over 25 years and have a dedicated
experienced events team to help you every step of the way.
With only one wedding per day we can guarantee you our undivided a�en�on.
We can accommodate 40-120 for your ceremony and wedding breakfast and up to 150
guests for your evening recep�on.

Civil Ceremonies
Ceremony Room Hire Saturday & Bank Holiday Sundays Sunday to Friday

The Great Hall is situated in the main school building. Built at the beginning of the last
century it creates an awe-inspiring atmosphere for your wedding ceremony. The Hall
has a tradi�onal church organ and a stunning vaulted ceiling, which provide a las�ng
impression your guests will remember forever (capacity 60-300)
The beau�fully restored Banque�ng Hall in the Arts Centre provides the perfect
in�mate and roman�c se�ng for your ceremony (capacity up to 120)
As soon as you have provisionally held your ideal date with us, you need to contact the
Bolton Register Office on 01204 331185. The Registrar’s fee is payable directly to the
Registry Office prior to the ceremony day.
The above room hire prices are applicable when booked alongside a full wedding
recep�on. If you would like to hold your ceremony only with us a £500 supplement will
be charged

From 7.30pm you can welcome more of your family and friends to join your
celebra�ons. We can accommodate a total of 150 guests for an evening recep�on, all
guests must be catered for.

This package is available for weddings in January, February and March and allows for 40
day�me guests and 80 evening guests.

Provisional Booking
Once you have se�led on your perfect date we are able to hold your booking on a
provisional basis for up to 14 days
Confirming your booking
To confirm your booking a deposit of £500 is required, together with a signed contract
Further Payments
A £1,000 payment is due 12 months before your wedding date
A £1,500 payment is due 6 months before your wedding date
Final Details
We will contact you 6-8 weeks before your wedding date and invite you in to discuss
your day in detail, at this stage we would ask you for your final numbers and chosen
menus
Final Balance Payments
Following your final details appointment a pro-forma invoice will be issued as we ask
that you se�le this 1 month before your wedding date.
Full terms and condi�ons will be included in your wedding contract.
Wedding Insurance is advisable.
