DAY 1: WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4 • DEPART USA
Depart the USA on overnight flights to Rome, Italy.
DAY 2: THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5 • ARRIVAL ROME | ASSISI
Arrive in Rome and meet your Italian Tour Director. Travel to Assisi via luxury motor coach. Celebrate Mass and visit St. Mary of the Angels Basilica to see the
famous Portziuncula. Welcome dinner tonight and overnight in Assisi.
DAY 3: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6 • ASSISI
Celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. Then, enjoy a walking city tour of Assisi to see the art, architecture and serenity of this Umbrian town.
Visit the Church of St. Clare to see her tomb and the San Damiano Cross. Tour San Rufino Church where St. Francis and St. Clare were both baptized.
The afternoon and evening will be at leisure. Overnight in Assisi.
DAY 4: SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7 • LORETO | LANCIANO | SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO
Depart Assisi for San Giovanni Rotondo with a stop in Loreto. Visit the Marian Shrine of Loreto and visit the Holy House of Nazareth. See the beautiful
Madonna of Loreto where more than 50 popes have traveled on a pilgrimage. Depart for Lanciano to celebrate Mass and see the 8th century Eucharistic
Miracle where you can still see the bread and wine that is now preserved in the form of flesh and blood. Afterwards drive to San Giovanni.
Dinner and overnight in San Giovanni Rotondo.
DAY 5: SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8 • SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO
Today, celebrate Mass at Santa Maria delle Grazie, the second most visited Catholic shrine in the world. Following Mass, tour the sanctuary, the old church
and the crucifix from which St. Padre Pio received the stigmata in 1918. Then, visit the tomb of Padre Pio at the new shrine where you will enjoy a guided tour
of the shrine and other important surrounding sites. Stop for a visit to Mont Sant Angelo to pray at the Grotto of St. Michael the Archangel. Many Popes and
Saints have prayed at this grotto seeking the protection of St. Michael. Overnight in San Giovanni Rotondo.
DAY 6: MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9 • MONTECASSINO | ROME
This morning, depart San Giovanni Rotondo for Rome. Stop to celebrate Mass at Montecassino Abbey, followed by a tour of this spectacular Benedictine Abbey,
on the top of a mountain. This monastery was founded and built by St. Benedict (patron saint of Europe) around AD 529 on the remains of a Roman fortification.
Continue to Rome. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up before a group dinner. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 7: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10 • ANCIENT ROME | WALKING TOUR
After breakfast, celebrate Mass at St. Peter in Chains and then explore Ancient Rome with a tour that includes the Coliseum (inside visit), Capitol Hill, and
the Roman Forum. Afternoon at leisure. Enjoy an evening walking tour to see the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona.
Dinner on own and overnight in Rome.
DAY 8: WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11 • PAPAL AUDIENCE | CHRISTIAN ROME TOUR
Attend the weekly Papal Audience (pending the Holy Father’s schedule). Then, take a Christian Rome Tour, including St. Mary Major and John in Lateran, which
is the Cathedral of Rome. See the Holy Steps climbed by Christ in Jerusalem, and the Basilica of the Holy Cross where some of Christianity's most important
relics are housed, including a piece of the True Cross. Conclude by celebrating Mass. Dinner on own and evening at leisure. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 9: THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12 • ROME | VATICAN MUSEUMS
Celebrate morning Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica. Visit the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel, where you will view some of the most inspiring works of art,
including Michelangelo's magnificent fresco of the Last Judgment. Afternoon is at your leisure for final exploration on your own.
Farewell Dinner and overnight in Rome.
DAY 10: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13 • RETURN TO USA
This morning, transfer to Rome airport for return flights home.

CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations must be received in writing. The cancellation fees are as follows:

• 7/1/2020 - 7/27/2020: $350
• 7/28/2020 - 8/21/2020: $1,600
• After 8/21/2020: No Refund
