                   Meet Our New Staff
Meet Barbara Stasiuk!

Hi! My name is Barbara Stasiuk and I am the new LINC Coordinator/Instructor at
our Campbell River location. Having grown up in a family of teachers, I am drawn
to building community through teaching settlement English for many reasons.
Most important is the desire to build strong, resilient newcomer communities
that can adapt and lead in Canada. Although I have lectured in many GTA post-
secondary contexts, I much prefer this part of Canada. Hmmm –not sure why
LOL. I’m looking forward to building strong partnerships with all of you so that we
can serve CR in the best ways possible.

video conference. Citizenship tests and oath taking ceremonies are now done
online through virtual events. This Canada Day we would like to send special
