Learn about the five energy healing systems of qigong as guided by DeeAnn Gieseke. As a form of
gentle exercise, qigong is composed of movements that are typically repeated, strengthening and
stretching the body, increasing fluid movement (blood, synovial, and lymph), enhancing balance
and improving the awareness of how the body moves. Qigong can be described as a mind-body-
spirit practice that improves one’s mental and physical health by integrating posture, movement,
breathing technique, self-massage, sound, and focused intent. Qigong increases the supply and
flow of energy throughout the body, can have a variety of rejuvenating effects and is believed to
increase longevity, and it induces calm mental and emotional states.

St. Paul’s Church and School invites families
with preschoolers and their siblings to Messy
                    Monday!
Messy Monday is a fun night where kids and
their parents play with gooey, slimy, and
sometimes tasty stuff! With these activities,
children get the opportunity to further develop those small
motor skills in their hands and arms. Messy Monday uses
materials like shaving cream, pudding, sand, toothpaste and
much more to strengthen fingers and hands. Each Messy
Monday has a snack as well. Cost is $1.00 per child and will
cover materials and snacks.
