Bike tour and guided tour within the European Green Week
A day to discover the naturalistic area of ??the former quarry 'In.Cal System'.
At 10.00 am Meeting at the Square on the Water (Tiberius Bridge).
The itinerary will continue along the cycle path that runs along the Marecchia river (extra-urban itinerary) for about
10 km (about 1 hour)
At 11.30 am Guided tour of the area together with the GEV Rimini (Voluntary Ecological Guards) on local flora
and fauna and the possibility of a picnic (with a packed lunch brought independently by the individual
participants).
Free return.
Inside the area there are information panels in Italian and English.
The initiative is organized by the Municipality of Rimini as part of the EU Green Week.

Exhibition by Salvatore Amelio at the City Museum
The works of Salvatore Amelio in the exhibition entitled ' Luce concreta'/'Concrete Light'.
His works seem to portray and often anticipate the dismemberment of the form that did not concern only the
Pergamos Altar.
The gesture of a figure, the torsion of a known body ( which comes from the repertoire of ancient painting) which
is suspended a moment before its detachment from the other parts.
Thus also the drawings and the paintings appear as projects for a sculptural thought that investigates that
laceration of the Art, preferring swirling and spiral morphologies that look like reconstructed fragments.
Standing out against a cloudy sky, those plastic elements, although incomplete, retain a dynamic energy; indeed,
it is perhaps the condition of exploded parts that gives them a kinetic development.

After the great success of last year, the extraordinary "Boathlon Monster Competition RiminiWellness 2019" -
Third Edition returns by popular demand.
The competition consists in the sum of the two best times that the competitors will perform in the Water Race and
in the Inflatable Race.
The circuit consists in: start of the water race from the shore in front of BoaBay, swim round the perimeter of the
waterpark; start of the inflatable race wearing the life-jacket and run upto the iceberg from which they dive and
swim to the shore.
The arrival on the shoreline determines the end of the race.
Participation in the competition is free and open to everyone from 16 years old.

East Coast Festival has reached its 17th edition!
The gathering attracts fans of vintage vehicles, from all over Italy and from abroad, to admire glamor cars and
motorcycles.
The event begins Saturday 8th June with the arrival of the 'old ladies' on the beach promenade (beach area 66) in
Torre Pedrera.
In the evening there will be music and gastronomical stands will be opened.
On Sunday 9th June the festival continues with the exhibition of cars and motorcycles, food stands, award
ceremony, entertainment and music.

The traditional folk dance of Romagna
'Notte del liscio' is an event dedicated to the folk dances of Romagna, which for the fourth consecutive year
celebrates its tradition with performances and dance evenings accompanied by famous orchestras, but also by
young music groups with their contemporary contaminations and reinterpretations.
The dance events will be animated by professional dancers and people of all ages, keen on traditional folk
dances.
There are a series of events scheduled along the Romagna Riviera and in the villages on the hills of the
hinterland where they will dance together to the rhythm of walzer, polka and mazurka.

Fioravanti, il cenacolo ritrovato

Exhibition at the City Museum
Fioravanti's work, ‘Il Cenacolo Rirovato’, will be on display until June 16th in the spaces of the City Museum.
The large fresco recently discovered is at the center of the exhibition set up on the first floor of the Museum,
where the work will dialogue with those by Bartolomeo Coda, a sixteenth-century painter, very active in Rimini and
in Romagna.
The cenacle, a work of large and unusual dimensions (four meters by two), represents the Last Supper and is a
fresco on canvas that Fioravanti created for the chapel inside the complex of the ‘Congregazione Sorelle
dell'Immacolata’ of Miramare, founded by don Domenico Masi .
Next to the rediscovered work, a small Crucifixion and a self-portrait, lent by Fioravanti's wife, Adele Briani, dated
also in 1970. All three works are frescos.
After the sculptures and drawings retrospective in 2015, this new exhibition represents a first partial attempt to
investigate an aspect of Fioravanti's work still little investigated .

It consists of 11 lithographs that the filmmaker and contemporary artist has created exclusively to pay tribute to
the last scene of Federico Fellini's film '8 ½'.
On display also 12 drawings by the Maestro, chosen by Lynch among those belonging to the collection of Fellini
Foundation in Sion.
An extraordinary series of prints, in which Lynch's admiration for Fellini clearly emerges.
Created in Los Angeles and printed at Item Editions in Paris, a historic lithography workshop, these works
symbolize the artistic power of Federico Fellini's recognized genius.

Cartoon Club 2019 - 35th edition

International Festival of Animation films, Comics & Games
For thirty-five years Rimini has hosted the "Cartoon Club", the International Festival dedicated to animated
cinema, comics and games.
Also this year, from 13 to 21 July, the historic center and the Fellini Park will be invaded by the thousand events of
the Kermesse, with over 300 animated films, premiere, screenings for the little ones, live shows and then again
creative workshops and masterclasses.
Don't miss the Cosplay Convention, with thousands of young people wearing the costumes of their heroes, the
exhibitions and the meetings with the authors, such as Antonio Lapone, the master of comics who this year
designed the manifesto of the event.
From 18 to 21 July, the exhibition-market will welcome publishers, antique trade and collecting. In Piazza Cavour,
Saturday 20 July, guest of honor Cristina D'Avena, the queen of cartoon theme songs.

Tastings, music and entertainment on the beach
The night of summer dedicated to the best wine labels of the Rimini hinterland. From the aperitif until late at night
in the magical setting of the seashore, the night of wine is staged accompanied by tastings, music and
entertainment.
From beach attendant 15 to 50, the wine cellars of the Rimini hinterland - and not only – together with the beach
operators, gathered in the Spiaggia Rimini Network, are ready to welcome all people from Rimini and all the
guests of the Riviera, lovers of wine and good food, to an irresistible night of rhythm, flavors, colors, atmospheres
and music.
Along the 2 km of shoreline over 50 points of shows and tastings will alternate: from the quality wine of the
hinterland to typical products “farm to table”; from the beer of the micro-breweries in Rimini to the exclusive
flavors of the best artisans of gastronomy (from blue fish to “mora romagnola”) and the dishes cooked by
restaurants located near the sea, all accompanied by the best selection of music and local bands.
The long row of lights that illuminates the two kilometers of shoreline ?from bagno 15 to bagno 50, will help to
create an even more striking effect.
The event is organized by Rimini Spiaggia Network.

Solidarity tournaments: beach tennis, beach volley, foot volley and bowls
A humanitarian and charitable project that raises funds for projects in Zimbabwe through play, sport and
entertainment.
Beach activities include beach tennis tournaments, beach volleyball, foot volleyball and bowls open to everyone
from under 10 to over 40.
On 20 July, it will be possible to take part in the fourth edition of RunRise Rimini For Mutoko, the dawn walk/run
that takes place on the beach (starting from beach 34) and in the Burraco tournament on the shoreline.
On 27 July a charity Burraco tournament in pairs will be held in Piazza Cavour.
