Wednesday, August 14, starting at 8:00pm, the shoreline from beach 130 to 150 will be the stage for the new
edition of 'Un Mare di Fuoco':
Over 2 km of beach will host dozens of shows including live music, fakirs, fire eaters, dancers and spellcasters.
A beach food area and chiringuitos to dine on the beach illuminated by the moon and to spend the evening by
the sea.
Lots of guests from the food and beverage industry, who will delight our palate with the typical flavors of the
Rimini area: mixed fried fish, grilled meat, meatballs with sauce and piada at the Compagnia dei
Pescatori and La Polpetta stands while the Consorzio Vini di Romagna will be present with 12 wineries that
will present their productions.

Memorial ceremony, music with the 'Band Città di Rimini' and theatre performances
In memory of the sacrifice of Mario Capelli, Luigi Nicolò, Adelio Pagliarani, the three martyrs killed in Rimini on
August 16th, 1944 by the Nazi-fascists, the City Council celebrates the heroic anniversary with a memorial
ceremony, during which laurel wreaths will be laid in the Three Martyrs square, dedicated to them, in Piazza
Ferrari and Via Ducale.
The ceremony will begin at 10 am departing with a parade from Piazza Cavour. The orchestra "Banda Città
di Rimini" will accompany the event.
Other initiatives and a theatre performance will be held in the evening in the Corte degli Agostiniani during the
evening.

A new evocative space, with a prominent musical programming.
Rimini Beach Arena, an area of ??over 10 thousand square meters, is one of the most important Italian summer
innovations, ready to make its first contribution to the work of urban regeneration of the former colonies of
Romagna, in the specific case the Miramare area where the Colonia Bolognese was operative from 1932 to 1977.
Rimini Beach Arena's musical programming concentrates the events from 20 July to 17 August, with a line up
featuring the performances of the best Italian urban artists and a series of dj protagonists of the most important
electronic music festivals.
Concerts and DJ sets in the name of transversality, perfect for a heterogeneous audience such as the one who
usually visits the Romagna Riviera: a project in line with the most important European events, in which every
genre barrier is eliminated.

The Sagra Musicale Malatestiana renews its attention to ancient music with a series of events with a strong

The music of the Rimini composer Mario Bianchelli (on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of Alessandro
Gambalunga's death) returns, preserved in a late seventeenth-century manuscript of the Gambalunga Library and
presented for the first time in the concert by the soprano Asumi Motoyama, with Maria Elena Ceccarelli on the

Your name was born from what you gazed upon
Summer festival of meetings, exhibitions, music and shows. An international event, a crossroad of testimonies
and experiences of different cultural origins: a lively and unique event on the world scene, it deals with crucial
issues, in free and open dialogue among the most interesting personalities of culture, politics and faith.
The title of the 40th edition is 'Nacque il tuo nome da ciò che fissavi' (your name was born from what you gazed
upon).
These verses which form the title, are taken from a poem by Karol Wojtyla. They focus on fact - experienced by
everyone, at least in the most important and decisive moments of life - that our "name", that is to say, our human
consistency is caused by what we stare at, by the relationship between us and another who is different from
ourselves. The image to which the poem refers is that of Veronica which fixes Christ as he passes by carrying the
cross.
Being aware of "being", being aware that one is "called" to exist is the most disturbing experience for all kind of
culture - from science to economics, from politics to art. Only the meeting with "living" people can re-open the self
of each of us to all the dimensions of the world.
Inside the Meeting, there is also an entire area dedicated to children: every day exhibitions, songs, dances,
games, shows and workshops with the Capo Banda and the friends of the Villaggio Ragazzi.

Revolutions 1989-2019: The art of the new world - 30 years later
From 1989 to 1991 the world changes.Three years that upset the world.
A society about to enter the global era without detaching itself from the localism that had so much marked the
success of the Made in Italy in the 1980s. The exhibition project, curated by the art critic and historian Luca
Beatrice, aims to retrace these three extraordinary years with video, sound and television materials plus a series
of events to warm the hearts of those who were there and intrigue the younger generations by presenting them
the Italian creativity, which many consider to be at its peak at the end of the 20th century.
