PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT
It is mandatory for teachers registered with the RAD,
including teachers recognized by mutual agreement
and active Life Members, to take part in a minimum
number of CPD activities each year in order to retain
Registered Teacher Status.

Your CPD requirement must be completed within the CPD year,
September 1 - August 31, and you should be able to provide
evidence that it is relevant to your dance teaching career.

The RAD has set minimum ages for exams to ensure safe dance practice
and maximize achievement.

Candidates must have reached the minimum age by the entry deadline
for the session.

There are no maximum age limits for any exams.

Music in Examinations                                                              Candidate Numbers
