A message from the Executive Directors
To say this season has been unprecedented is an understatement. The worldwide Covid-19 pandemic changed the entire world in a blink of an eye. We all had to adjust to a new way of living. Teleworking, virtual schooling, combing the stores for sanitization products, it was a lot! For our studio, we initially went to all virtual classes via Zoom to end Season 14 due to state- wide mandates. We know it wasn’t an easy adjustment, but so many of you held on and stuck it out with us. As restrictions lightened slightly, we immediately put a plan into action in order to safely open. We put measures into place which included closing our lobby, new entry and exit methods, mandatory temparatue checks and mask wearing, cleaning of the bathrooms after each use and taping the floor into socially distanced boxes to make sure dancers maintaned a safe distance between them. We also increased the time between each class so the teachers could completely sanitize the floors and all touchable surfaces in the room prior to the next class arriving. Having put all of these measures in place, we still knew and understood there would be some people who were still uncomfortable sending their dancer in person. For these families, We purchased flat screen tvs and microphones for each room so students who chose to particpate virtually via Zoom, had as close to the in person experience as we could make possible. We are so thankful for your commitment and belief in us and our program. We are so proud we chose to “Hold on” through Season 14 and grew “Stronger Together” through season 15.
