FACTS ABOUT
POPPY RIDGE GOLF COURSE
Owned by:
Poppy Ridge Golf Course is owned by the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) and is
the sister course to Poppy Hills Golf Course in Pebble Beach, CA. Poppy Ridge opened for
play in October 1996.

Mission Statement:
To provide championship golf to all Northern California Golf Association members and the
golfing public. To offer a top quality product with better than anticipated service, all for a good
value.

What is a Poppy Ridge Guest?

Guests are the most important people at this golf facility....in person, on the telephone or by
mail.

Guests are not dependent on us....we are dependent on them.

Guests are not an interruption of our work....they are the purpose of it. We are not doing a
favor by serving them....they are doing us a favor by giving us the opportunity to do so.

Guests are not people to argue or match wits with. No one ever won an argument with a guest.

Guests are people who bring us their wants. It is our job to handle them profitably to both their
satisfaction and our own satisfaction.
