PRAYER OF THE DAY

*CALL TO WORSHIP (responsive)
This is the day that God has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
We gather today to shout Alleluia!
Christ is risen; he is risen indeed.
Out of the doom of death and despair, victory comes, glory appears.
We gather today to shout Alleluia!
Christ is risen; he is risen indeed.
We shall live, witness, and recount the deeds Of the God whose love endures
forever.
We gather today to shout Alleluia!
Christ is risen; he is risen indeed.
PRAYER OF CONFESSION (unison)
You call us to hope, Savior God, but we despair. You call us to work for
peace, but we doubt its power. You call us to community, but we judge
and exclude. Transform us, Holy One, by the joy of this Easter. Let us
celebrate this day as a new beginning and a new life. Amen.

WORDS OF ASSURANCE

Verse 1/Chorus
This is my offering dear Lord
This is my offering to You God
And I will give You my life
For it’s all I have to give
Because You gave Your life for me.

Verse 2
I stand before You at this alter
So many have given you more
I may not have much I can offer
Yet what I have is truly Yours.

PRAYER OF DEDICATION

                              COMMUNION

INVITATION TO THE TABLE (responsive)
God in Christ breaks down the walls that make us strangers to ourselves and
divides us from one another.
We are the body of Christ. Around this table, we enact our faith with our
brothers and sisters here together and with those throughout the world.
The bread that is broken restores us to wholeness; the cup poured out
brings new life.
THE GREAT THANKSGIVING (responsive)
The Lord be with you.
And also with you
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them up to the Lord.
Let us give thanks and praise to God.
It is right to give God thanks and praise…
LORD’S PRAYER (unison)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom
come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead
us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
