Spring Break: March 12-17, 2018

            Congratulations Dr. Anne Jung
Dean of the College, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs

President Tom Gamble announced to the
Maria Community that Dr. Anne Jung has
been appointed Dean of the College and
Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs.
She has been serving as Acting Vice President
for Academic Affairs. Dr. Jung's contributions
to Maria have been tremendous in her role as
Chair of Liberal Arts and Management and
Co-Chair of the Middle States Commission on
Higher Education (MSCHE) Steering Committee. President Gamble
stated, "Anne needs no introduction to the Maria community where
she is well known as a fair, balanced and highly competent
administrator, as well as a dedicated and capable member of the
faculty."

                         Lenten Reflection

This week, Sr. Eileen O'Connor shares a reflection on
Jesus' last words "I'm thirsty." She challenges us with
the statement, 'Nearly 1 billion of our brothers and
sisters may say “I’m thirsty,” but they do not enjoy a
drink of water. They have no access to clean drinking
water. They suffer from many water-related diseases. In
fact, every day, tens of thousands of children die of
preventable water-related diseases. Water is life, as our
Native American friends remind us.' Click here to read
