Overview      Academics seeks approval of the following purchase agreements for services and/or goods:
   Edgenuity: Personalized digital curriculum aligned with the (NCSCOS) North Carolina Standard
    Course of Study for 6-12 grade students. This tool provides a rigorous, equitable, engaging and
    alternate pathway for students to attain course credit either through a prescriptive program for the
    first time credit or credit recovery. Additionally the product serves as a tier II intervention to support
    the Multi-tiered System of Support

   Instructure: Develop custom assessments that are based on state academic standards and aligned to
    the Cumberland County Schools pacing calendar. Includes the creation of the assessment, scanning,
    and scoring while providing assessment results in an online portal. (Formerly TE21/Case 21, Certica).

   PowerSchool Unified Insights: Provides educators with a cloud-based, real-time data dashboard
    solution. This tool will host, disaggregate, export, and monitor all of the district’s academic,
    assessment, attendance, and behavior data enabling CCS educators to quickly identify strengths and
    growth areas.

            Academics seeks approval of the following purchase agreements for services:
   Great Minds Wit and Wisdom: Core English Language Arts program in 46 schools K-5 elementary schools. Wit
    and Wisdom features knowledge-building lessons and authentic content addressing social emotional needs.
    Students use these texts to master reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary skills. The
    adoption is being continued for an additional year and will be reviewed during the 2021-2022 school year. This
    purchase provides the minimal materials to continue a year four implementation.

   SAVVAS Math Kits: Engage learners in problem solving, sorting, patterns, measurements, and mathematical
    ideas using comprehensive manipulative kits for each specified grade level at the elementary level. (Formerly
    Pearson)

   SAVVAS myPerspectives: Core 6-12 English Language Arts curriculum. All students in grades 6-12 will have
    digital access. This purchase agreement will cover a 3-year license and last the lifespan of the North Carolina
    Adopted English Language Arts standards. (Formerly Pearson)

   SAVVAS MyMathLab: Core Math IV curriculum material. This resource is built to promote consistency and
    equity through digital instructional materials. This product provides personalized instruction for students and
    tools for teachers. This is a 6-year license that will cover the life of the Math IV adopted standards. Math IV
    standards were not approved by the state when the 9-12 math adoption was approved. (Formerly Pearson)
