With cargo space ranging from 6.0 cubic metres in the L1 H1 (short wheelbase, low roof) to 8.3 cubic metres in the L2 H2

bulkhead. (Standard) The flat load floor and near vertical walls help you make the most of all that space. A tough vinyl
load floor liner provides a highly durable surface that’s easy to clean after the work is done. (Easy To Clean Load Floor is
standard on Trend, Limited and Sport (vans only), option on ECOnetic and Base (vans only))

How the Transit Custom
‘thinks’ about your cargo.
The size and position of a vehicle’s load can
affect its braking, traction, cornering ability and
roll-over tendency. Load Adaptive Control, part
of Transit Custom’s Electronic Stability Control
(ESC), identifies changes in the vehicle’s mass
and centre of gravity, and adapts the safety
systems to optimise braking effectiveness,
traction and stability.
ESC keeps everything on the
right track.
Transit Custom’s standard ESC automatically adjusts power and braking to keep the
vehicle on the right track. The system also features Hill Start Assist (HSA) as standard,
making it easier to pull away on a slope without the need to use the handbrake.

A unique safeguard ensures nobody can accidentally fill Transit Custom’s locking system is more secure than
up with the wrong fuel. Plus, no dirty fuel caps to touch. ever. That’s because you can open one individual door
(Standard) without automatically unlocking the others. The other
doors stay securely locked until you activate a switch on
the driver’s door.
Drive-away locking
To prevent opportunistic crime, all doors automatically
lock once the vehicle speed exceeds 5 mph. The doors
remain locked even if the vehicle slows or stops,
although the driver or passenger locks can be released
using the interior door handles. (Can be deactivated if
