The safety of the dog is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors
acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport

of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create
an unnecessary disturbance or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive
behavior may, at the discretion of the Test Committee, be asked to leave the
test site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. IWSCA and its
agents, employees, etc., will assume no responsibilities for any loss, damage or
injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers, or to any of their dogs or property
and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children or spectators.
IWSCA reserves the right to decline entries for cause and may remove any dog
on account of aggression. No one shall have any recourse or claim against
IWSCA or any official thereof.
All dogs must be on leash at all times when on trial grounds except the dog
being tested. No pinch/prong, electric or special training collars are

Open only to Irish Water Spaniels.
Qualifiers in each stake will receive a rosette, duck band,
certificate, and a portable dog water bottle.
All participants will receive a dog toy courtesy of the Club.
BITCHES IN SEASON ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE TEST
GROUNDS
Entry fees for bitches that come into season after the closing
date will be refunded (minus $3.00 administration fee) if a
Veterinarian’s certificate is presented to the Test Secretary
prior to the start of judging.
Hunt Tests are by pre-entry. A limited number of dogs may be
entered on the day of the test if space and birds are available
with an additional fee of $10.00 for dogs entered after
closing.
The WCX test will start at 11:00AM.
The WC test will follow.

LOCATION: close proximity to the Expo Building.
Exhibitors should plan for generator usage. Please respect quiet hours from 10PM-7AM.
OVERNIGHT PARKING FEE: $30 per night via PayPal or check. Either send Paypal

Parking is available for the nights of Friday, May 10, 2019 - Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
Exhibitors staying for the NW cluster will have to move on Thursday, May 16, 2019.

highlight excellence in the IWS. This event recognizes those dogs with the
most outstanding records (breed, all-breed, and NOHS) and provides:
Education for breeders, exhibitors, fanciers, and judges.
An incentive for breeders to strive for excellence in conformation,
movement, structure, and temperament.
An opportunity for all who attend to view top dogs in our breed - from
both the USA and INTERNATIONALLY.
Attire for the Top Ten Event: This event is considered to be a formal event
and as such formal, gala type attire is absolutely encouraged to be worn at
the event, both by attendees and handlers.
Thanks to the generosity of the Irish Water Spaniel Club of Puget Sound,
attendees will receive an event catalog showcasing the top dogs, wine, soft
drinks, and dessert.
