The unofficial home of F1®, Silverstone,
Number of Laps
located in Northamptonshire, is a unique 52
blend of beautiful countryside and wonderful Circuit Length
5.891km
architecture.
Named after the nearby Silverstone village, the surrounding areas of the
track are home to many of Formula 1’s team factories, so the chances of
you driving past one are pretty high! 8km north of the track is Towcester,
famed for its traditional pubs and fare. If retail therapy is your tonic, take
a trip to Bicester Village, situated 15 miles from Silverstone and home to
more than 130 shopping outlets.
The Navigation Pub in Towcester is home to some proper ‘pub grub’, and a
perfect spot to enjoy a summer’s evening with the locals after a long day
at the track. Located in the Midlands of England, London, like many of the
country’s major cities, is just over an hour’s drive from the race track, and
the perfect excuse to extend your stay. One of the world’s most popular
tourist destinations, the list of things to do is endless. From Buckingham
Palace to Westminster Abbey, London is a must-see.
