                The Joy of Cookbooks
January: Make sure you have your pots and ladles ready this month
as we’ll be talking about sippin’, slurpin’, satisfying for the soul soups
that will make you feel better if you’re under the weather or just
               plain ol’ over the weather.
February: On February 9, celebrate National Pizza Day with a slice
of everyone’s favourite pie! For the rest of the month, we’ll take a
look at how pizza differs by geographical region and we’ll share
recipes that will certainly make you crave an ooey-gooey cheesy
slice with all your favourite toppings. Buono!

Are you a foodie that loves trying new recipes?
Do you just find enjoyment in browsing recipe books?

  Indigenous Conversations
  Jan. 23, Feb. 6 & 20 | 1–2:30 PM | Online via Zoom
Book Club: Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom,
Scientific Knowledge and Teachings of Plants
Join us as we discuss Braiding Sweetgrass
  by Robin Wall Kimmerer.
An active member of the Potawatomi nation, Robin senses
and relates to the world through a way of knowing far
older than science. In Braiding Sweetgrass, she intertwines
these two modes of awareness–the analytic and the
emotional, the scientific and the cultural–to ultimately
reveal a path toward healing the rift that grows between
people and nature. (From the publisher.)
Space is limited to 10 participants. Please register by January 16.
To receive your Zoom invitation contact Linda.Weaselhead@lethlib.ca.
