     CONTINUING TO BE INNOVATORS
Hillary Outdoors Lake Taupō will be the first outdoor education centre in the Southern
Hemisphere constructed to meet the Living Building ChallengeTM criteria. The buildings will
be constructed to have a net zero impact and a carbon minimisation philosophy.

“The Centre will provide a valuable and essential service of empowering
young people (across a broad geographic area of New Zealand) to be
work-ready, positively focussed and engaged in prioritising their own
     career pathways.”
