4 5UNDER 6’s Interest in our HWJFC U6’s started in July last year, and we ran an open evening to come along and meet us and have some fun....all the way back on August 7th 2020. The interest and uptake was amazing and, before we knew it, we had 30 Year 1 children starting training on a Friday evening; and the start of a blossoming waiting list of other keen players and parents! Since last August our training partner Destination Sport has nurtured these U6’s through the year, and they are now ready to form 4 new teams playing in the North East Hants Youth League at U7’s this coming season. We will have our first U7 all-girls Tigers team, as well our boys playing in the U7 Kites, U7 Falcons and U7 Eagles. Thank you in advance to next season’s U7 Parents and Managers who have already stepped up to run the teams for us. And don’t forget, the rest of the HWJFC Managers and Club Committee and Officers will be here to support you along the way! The boys really have a great sense of teamwork about them and this saw them scoring a lot of goals in the league and

Will C for captaining the side to our biggest victory, 9-2 (and scoring!) Will D for his defensive heroics all season and

had some fun with your mates!

Unprecedented is a word that has been used a lot in the last 18 months. This season for the Under 10
Hawks, with all the ‘stops and starts’, was certainly a season we hope not to have to repeat!
Lee Griffiths and I have come to the conclusion that with both of us having boys playing in the team our goal was to see

and this is massively reflected in the spread of awards being handed out to the boys this season.
