to many exotic and endangered species from around the world. Lions,
tigers, elephants, giraffes, apes, penguins and many more family
favourites can be found here all year round.

3. Fish and flippers combine in the new “Active Oceans” arena which
unites the fun and frolics of the sea lions with the streamlined
swimming of the penguins next door. Already boasting the largest
sea lion pool in the UK, the zoo has extended and refurbished the
surround to allow visitors much closer access to these amazing
animals and birds. Also new for 2010 at Blackpool Zoo is a
walkthrough wallaby enclosure which, like the very popular “Lemur
Wood” will allow the animals to get as close as they want to the
visitors.

4. Visit the iconic Blackpool Tower and experience the spectacular
family circus, take a waltz around the magnificent ballroom, swing
around the amazing Jungle Jim’s Towering Adventureland or travel
to the top!

whether it’s an encounter with weird and wonderful creatures from
the deep at the SEA LIFE Centre; meeting your favourite
celebrities at Madame Tussauds Blackpool; a spot of crazy golf at
the Golden Isle or Pleasure Beach Resort ; a visit to a pier or
checking out the cornucopia of crazy objects in Ripley’s Believe It or
Not! And of course, there are miles of golden sand to enjoy at your
leisure – it’s not called the Golden Mile for nothing!
