THE FIS STORY
FIS aims to be Asia’s most influential preparatory education institution where our graduates will
secure admissions to world-renowned universities through our rigorous education system.

Established in 2001, FIS offered the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Ordinary Level (GCE
O-Level) programme in 2004 and our top graduates gained admissions into the local polytechnics in
Singapore.

The Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) programme was
introduced to the FIS Community in 2007 and with their exceptional results, our best pioneer GCE
A-Level graduates gained admissions to the National University of Singapore (NUS). In 2014, we were
extremely excited and proud when our graduate, Mr. Wang Haochen, was admitted into the
prestigious Oxford University and this was followed by Mr. Ding Yuzheng who was accepted by the
highly prestigious Cambridge University in 2016.

Our strong focus on student academic success is highly complemented with instilling social
responsibilities in our youth and the constant reflection on the consequences of one's acts on others
and on the environment. The establishment of the Cambodia Youth Voluntary Project with the Boys'
Brigade where our students taught students English and Chinese, repainted parts of the
Chambokhae Primary School and raised funds for new windows for Hope International School in
Siam Reap is one such example.

FIS aims to be Asia’s most influential Preparatory Education Institution. Through quality education,
our students will secure admissions to world-renowned universities. We have evolved innovatively
over the last twenty years and now FIS offers a three-year Middle School Programme and a three-
year High School Diploma Programme. In 2021, we will be incorporating the problem-based learning
and student profile-building programmes, the FIS Alpha Programme, into the FIS Journey. Aimed to
empower, inspire and encourage students as they journey through a rigorous and intricate process
of preparing for their higher education, the FIS Alpha Programme also provides students with the
