The Bendigo Jockey Club (BJC) welcomes you to join in the festivities of Country Racing Victoria’s
preeminent racemeeting – the 2018 Jayco Bendigo Cup.
The Bendigo Cup is immersed in history with the first running of the event held in 1868 at the famous
Bendigo Racecourse which continues to be renowned as one of, if not the best racing surface in Australia.
Positioned just 6 days before the Lexus Melbourne Cup the Group 3 Jayco Bendigo Cup with prize money
of over $350,000 attracts a quality field of world-class stayers competing against the best from Australia as
they attempt a last-minute passage into the race that stops a nation at Flemington.
The 2018 event marks the 10th anniversary of the Clubs’ major partnership with Jayco. The relationship
between BJC and Jayco’s founder, proud Bendigonian Gerry Ryan has been paramount to the Club’s success
over the years and the partnership continues to flourish with Mitchelton recently confirmed as the Club’s
exclusive wine supplier.
The 2018 Jayco Bendigo Cup Raceday Hospitality Packages have been designed to provide all patrons with
the optimal raceday experience within the picturesque landscape of Bendigo’s celebrated racecourse facilities.

When and how do I get my tickets
Once you have booked you will receive confirmation. Hospitality ticketing will be available for post or collection at the Bendigo
Jockey Club in the weeks leading up to an event.
What time do the Gates Open?
Gates open to the general Public at 10.30am. Silks Dining room opens at 11.30am. Drink service will commence at
12noon in the hospitality areas. Silks dining room and Marquees open at 11.30am. Drinks service will commence
at 11.30 am.
What is the Dress Code?
We ask that your guest respect the dress code – Lounge suit race attire. No Denim, shorts, t-shirts, runners, bare feet or
thongs will be permitted in all the hospitality areas. We have the right to refuse entry to those not adhering the dress code.
Jacket and tie must be worn in Silks Dining room.
How do I get to and from the track?
Trains leave from Southern Cross station in Melbourne.
Buses will be departing to and from the race course to and from the Bendigo Train Station times will be available closer to
the date.
Parking is available on course.
Taxi Ranks and Uber ranks will be available inside the course.
What are the race times?
The race times will be available closer to the date, when they are announced by the industry.
They will be published on our website.
As an approximate guide we would suggest based on last years races first race will be at 11.30am and last race at 5.20pm.
