Terms and Conditions for HSBC UK and The
Championships Wimbledon Prize Draw
HSBC UK is offering customers and non-customers the chance to win a pair of
tickets to The Championships Wimbledon by participating in a tennis challenge on
Facebook and Instagram, called the #HSBCTrickShotChallenge. These are the legal
terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) that apply to the HSBC UK and
The Championships Wimbledon Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”).

HSBC UK Bank plc (“HSBC UK”) of 1 Centenary Square, Birmingham, B1 1HQ,
United Kingdom is the “Promoter” of this Prize Draw.

1. Can I enter the Prize Draw?
To enter the Prize Draw, you must:

a) be resident in England, Wales or Scotland;
b) be aged 18 years or over;
c) not work for HSBC UK or have been involved in setting up or running this Prize Draw;
d) not have already entered the HSBC UK and The Championships Wimbledon
Ticket Prize Draw.
e) not be entering for someone else; and
f) be available to attend The Championships Wimbledon during event 27 June until
10 July 2022.

If you don’t meet or stop meeting any of these criteria after entering the Prize Draw,
then you may be disqualified and any prize you may have won will be forfeited.

The Prize Draw is void where prohibited by law or otherwise is in breach of local
or national applicable legislation or other provisions or where there is a conflict of
interest.

2. How do I enter the Prize Draw?
You can enter the Prize Draw from 00:01 GMT on 9 June 2022 until 23:59 GMT
on 22 June 2022. All entries received after the closing date are automatically
disqualified.

To enter you need to film yourself completing a tennis Trickshot, post your video to
either Instagram, using the hashtag #HSBCTrickShotChallenge and tag @hsbc_uk
or Facebook, using the hashtag #HSBCTrickShotChallenge and tag @HSBCUK.

There is no purchase or entry fee to enter this Prize Draw.

By entering this Prize Draw you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms and
Conditions.

3. What is the Prize?
The prize is a pair of tickets to The Championships, Wimbledon which runs from
27 June until 10 July 2022.

All prizes are subject to availability.

The prize does not include any additional accommodation, food, beverage,
transport costs, spending money and/or other additional costs and the winner will
need to pay for these. The winner also will be responsible for any tax liabilities. The
winner will be responsible for ensuring that they and any person travelling with
them are available to travel and hold valid passports (if required) on the travel dates
specified and for paying for any Travel visas (if required) and Travel insurance.

If the prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond the control of the
Promoter, the Promoter can offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value at the
Promoter’s discretion.

There is no cash alternative and the prize can’t be transferred or exchanged.

The prize requires the winner to be able to attend The Championships, Wimbledon
on the date chosen or allocated. If the winning entrant is unable to attend, the prize
will be offered to the next runner up.

4. How are the Winners selected?
The winner will be picked at random at 12:00 GMT on 23rd June 2022. The
Promoter will try to contact the winner by commenting on the original post or by
direct message on Facebook or Instagram within 3 days of the Prize Draw closing.

The comment and/or direct message sent to the winner will include details of the
prize and how to claim it. Prizes which are not claimed within 48 hours will be
forfeited. The Promoter reserves the right to pick an alternative winner if the prize is
not claimed.

The odds of winning will depend on the total number of valid entries received.

5. How can you find out the names of the Winners?
To find out details of the winner or if you have any questions about the Prize Draw
please send an email to brandpartnerships@hsbc.co.uk.

6. What else do you need to know? Legal Information
The winner agrees to take part and allow their name and location to be used in any
promotional activities reasonably requested by the Promoter.

The Promoter and its group companies and contractors will not be liable (to the
extent permitted by law) for any loss or damage arising out of organising or holding
this Prize Draw or as a result of your participation in the Prize Draw including
without limitation in relation to;
• any lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or incorrect entries;
• any errors, interruption, delay in operation or transmission, line failure, theft or
  destruction of entries;
• any activities the winner and their guest/s undertake during participation in the
  event and whilst travelling to and from the event, or as a result of your winning,
  collecting, use or enjoyment of any prize; or
• if the Prize Draw does not run as planned.

This clause does not seek to exclude the liability of the Promoter and its group
companies and contractors for (a) death or personal injury caused by the Promoter
and its group companies and contractors negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent
misrepresentation, and/or (c) any other matter for which it would be unlawful for
the Promoter and its group companies and contractors to exclude or attempt to
exclude their liability. Your statutory rights are not affected.

The Promoter can change these Terms and Conditions or cancel the Prize Draw for
any reason if it chooses to and without incurring liability as a result.

The use of the prize may be subject to the terms and conditions of the prize
manufacturer or issuer and the Promoter shall not be responsible for such terms or
the winner’s compliance with them.

These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising from these Terms and
Conditions are governed by the laws of England and the exclusive jurisdiction of the
Courts of England & Wales.

7. What about any intellectual property rights?
You agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, make your entry available
on its website hsbc.co.uk and any other media, and in connection with any
publicity of the Prize Draw.

To the extent that your entry is the subject of any intellectual property rights
(for example copyright in a photograph), you hereby grant the Promoter a non-
exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual
property rights in the Prize Draw entry and any accompanying materials, to use,
display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the Prize
Draw entry and any accompanying materials for any purpose. You hereby waive
your moral rights in your entry (including the right to be credited as the author of
the works).

You warrant that your entry is your own original work, that you own the intellectual
property rights in your entry and that your entry does not infringe the intellectual
property rights of any third party.

8. Your Personal information
Any personal information Entrants provide will be processed by HSBC, and used
to run the Prize Draw and to administer the fulfilment of the Prize. Personal data
may be stored and processed in the United Kingdom or overseas (which includes
outside of the European Economic Area), by HSBC or other parties on HSBC’s
behalf for the purpose of administering this Prize Draw. More information on how
we collect, use and share personal information, individuals’ data privacy rights and
how these can be exercised can be found in HSBC’s Privacy Notice.

The Promoter’s Privacy Notice explains how the Promoter will collect, use, disclose,
transfer and store your information and sets out your rights to your information. The
Promoter may share your information with other HSBC Group companies and other
parties who act on behalf of the Promoter to administer this Prize Draw. You can
