be panned across and zoomed in on, revealing
more information about the organisms.

amphibians (and only 5000 species for each).

   Dr Rosindell hopes that OneZoom will not
only help scientists to visualize the tree of
life and discover new patterns in nature, but
also be used in engaging zoo and museum
displays to teach people about the evolution
and diversity of life.

      Brazil hopes to clone                                                                                                       CFBDSIR2149

Embrapa, the Brazilian government’s
agricultural research agency. Most of

list belong to the International Union
for Conservation of Nature’s Red List of

Can Red Bull give

                        Felix’s space jump: incredible feat of ingenuity or simply a PR stunt?

are they telling the truth?

Polygraph tests are used across many industries and are often relied on during police investigations.

Josh Howgego discusses how research into treating rare diseases is gaining popularity and questions
the future for these ‘orphan drugs’.

        I       n the autumn of 2012, a paper
