What's the application criteria?
The application criteria may vary depending on the role and function you're applying for. Details of the
criteria that applies can be found in the job description.

How do I apply for the IDEA Global Internship Program?
All career opportunities will be available on our careers site. Only applications submitted through this
site will be accepted. Our application process includes completing an online application form and
submitting a resume. Depending on the team you are applying to, you may be asked to complete
additional steps as part of their individual application process. You will be notified separately if there’s
another step in the process.

When does the application window open and close for the IDEA Global Internship Program?
We anticipate opening for applications in May 2021. More information will follow at the beginning of
May 2021.

Can I apply for an internship if I live, study and/or work in a country that doesn’t have
an internship?
Yes, you can apply for an internship in a country other than where you currently live, study or work.
However, you will need to have independent work authorization. You will also need to be physically
present in the country where your internship is based for the duration of the internship program. We
are unable to support relocation, travel or work permit costs as part of your application. Please see the
job descriptions (when the application window opens) for any specific requirements regarding whether
the internship role you are interested in is office dependent, hybrid or remote.

Can I apply to more than one role in the IDEA Global Internship Program?
While you're not limited by the number of applications, we strongly recommend investing your
time, passion and energy in one application to give yourself the best chance of success. We encourage
you to take the time to reflect on the internship opportunity that best aligns with your
purpose, vision and goals. Due to the number of applications we receive, we cannot prioritize one of
your applications over another if you apply to more than one role.

Will the IDEA Global Internship Program take place in-person or virtually?
For 2021, we're planning for a virtual internship where the core components of the program like the
launch event, skills sessions etc. will be delivered virtually. However, we are carefully
monitoring the restrictions and guidance in each of the locations. Please also see the job descriptions
(when the application window opens) for any specific requirements regarding whether the internship
role you are interested in is office dependent, hybrid or remote.

Will there be more locations and host functions in the future?
For this pilot year, we’re adopting a test and learn approach and looking at how we can develop the
program. We’re planning for the expansion of this year’s pilot program and exploring more host
functions and locations that can be offered in the future.
