batch has not graduated yet and hence, we do not have the placement stats. We will update
the placement inf ormation as soon as the f irst placement season begins at this college.

September 13, 2021: Placements 2020-21 completed. Highest CTC: Rs 30 LPA, Avg
CTC: Rs 8.50 LPA. Amazon, Practo, Publicis Sapient, Nykaa, TCS, etc. among top

Placements: The college was started in the year 2017. The f irst batch was passed out in

institutes like IITs and NITs. All the teachers are f riendly, experienced and knowledgeable.
They clarif y our doubts anytime instantly. The course curriculum is relevant and is easy to
study and understand concepts accordingly. I have good working experience and sof t skills.

Satisfied with the college, as it has good placements in 2021, good
infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placements are quite good. The 1st batch is passing out this year (2021).
Even in this pandemic, our college has good potential. More than 70% of students got
placed already. The highest package of f ered is 30 LPA by Amazon, and the average
package is around 9.5 LPA. Many students got internships in IIT Guwahati.
Inf rastructure: The inf rastructure is good. It's not completely developed because the
college doesn't have its own campus. Work is in progress. I think in the next 2-3 years, our
well-f acilitated campus will be ready. Besides that, we have all the f acilities f or now, like Wi-
Fi, labs, classrooms, library etc. Hostel and mess f ood f acilities are good. The college has
its own playground. Medical f acilities are quite good.
Faculty: All the teachers are good. I think they are the best f or their jobs. All of them are
very supportive, helpf ul, well qualif ied and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant.
It's based on the requirement of the industry.

Placements: Since it is the covid situation, so we haven't visited the college physically but
as per online inf ormation, the placement statistics are very good. The lowest salary package
of f ered is 6 LPA by TCS, and the highest salary package of f ered is about 18 LPA by
Amazon. Internships are of f ered only to 4th-year students as the college was established in
2017. Some students opted f or GATE, and the remaining were placed.
Inf rastructure: The college has a temporary building but with great f acilities. Wi-Fi is
available at a high speed in every hostel. Laboratories are more than your expectations and
every laboratory related to branches is present despite temporary building. Classrooms are
well-equipped with projectors and a lot more. I heard in all IIIT's domains that the f ood
served is the best. The canteen is not much big but is suf f icient as per the number of
students in our college. I heard f rom seniors that we are well-equipped medically. There is a
huge ground to play outdoor games along with courts f or various indoor games like
badminton, basketball, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are great and have a good teaching style. Sometimes their
English is poor in case of f luency otherwise, they all are great. Everyone has done their
Masters as well as Ph.D. f rom any old IIT or some other renowned college in India. Its
curriculum is the latest one f ulf illing all the requirements of today's industrial requirements.
Other: I opted f or this course because it was the only best possible course that I was
of f ered. For cultural sites, IIIT is of f ering many f acilities. There are various clubs that we
usually f ind in older IITs or NITs. We also have an EBSB club.

IIIT Bhagalpur is a new college, but this college grows very fast.
Placements: The f irst batch passes out in 2021. Placements are going on. Now in the CSE
branch, up to 60% of the students got placed, and in the ECE branch, 40% of the students
got placed. The highest salary package of f ered by Amazon is 17 LPA, the average salary
package of f ered is 8 LPA, and the minimum salary package of f ered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting

Overall, it is a fantastic college.
Placements: Around 50-60% of the students were placed in my course bef ore the 8th
semester (4th year). I heard the highest package of f ered was around 17 LPA f or the CSE
Batch, and the average package is 7-10 LPA, and the lowest package is about 6 LPA. Our
director introduced a new circulation f or 8th semester. There will be internships in the 8th
semester. So, 100% of students will get to do an internship in the 8th semester provided by
our mentor institute, IIT Guwahati. The top roles of f ered are sof tware developer, IC
developer etc. Some top recruiting companies I heard of are Amazon, TATA, Nykaa,
National Instruments etc.
Inf rastructure: As the college was recently established (2017), the f acilities and
inf rastructure are new. Faculty members are mostly f rom IIT Guwahati and are PhD holders.
The hostel is a nice and new building, and it has 24-hour water supply and security.
Sometimes, electricity shortage is there, but our hostel has a generator. The library is
awesome, having many varieties of books and a spacious reading room. We have our own
government LAN and Wi-Fi internet, which give speed up to 1Gbps. All classrooms are
spacious and comf ortable to sit. The teaching is digitalised. Well-lit and air-conditioned
library, labs and classrooms are available. Food quality is good. We have a CAC building
(Common Activity Center) where all extra f acilities are available. Mess, canteen, doctor and
sports equipment like volleyball and badminton courts, indoor sports room and a gym are
available.
Faculty: Our teachers are well educated. All are PhD holders f rom reputed IITs, mostly f rom

course to be more practical than theoretical. It helps us understand things better. We have
many events and cultural events like, Independence Day, Republic Day, f reshers party,
Teacher's Day, debates, slogan writing etc. There are several clubs to join, like machine
learning, electronics club, artif icial intelligence, web development, Android development etc.
A sports club is also there. The college is on the campus of Bhagalpur College of
Engineering. It is a huge campus with a lot of greenery, and the f amous holy Ganga river
passes beside our campus. From the top f loor of the hostel building, we can have a good
view.

College is very good for tech students, with a very good study environment
beside the Ganga river.
Placements: Placements are awesome in our college. The highest salary package of f ered
is 17 LPA, and the average salary package of f ered is 8.5 LPA. Amazon, Nykaa, NIC, Wipro
and 25 other companies came f or recruitment. About 75% of the students got placed, and it
is still going on. These records are f or the f irst batch, which started in 2017.
Inf rastructure: Our college has an excellent hostel with spacious rooms, and each room is
allotted f or 3 members. Every f loor has separate bathrooms. A water cooler is available on
every f loor. There is a CAC where you can get all the slots items and enjoy it. Mess f ood is
very good.
Faculty: Our college has excellent f aculty members, and they have plenty of experience in
their respective f ields. They are very supportive and caring. The curriculum of every IIIT is
f ocused on making the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because technology f ascinates me, and it gives much
exposure to technology. I would recommend our college to run those clubs with the same
f luidity with which they are currently running.

New But Experienced. May Emerge As the best iiit of india.
Placements: Even though our college is new, the training and placements provided are
highly inf ormative to get opportunities in f avour. This makes it easy f or students to f etch
internships and placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, TruckX and many more visit here
f or campus drives.
Inf rastructure: Wi-Fi is available af ter college hours. There are a separate library and
reading room. There are highly air-conditioned labs, and they are equipped with the latest
equipment. The quality of the f ood served is also good. Medical f acilities are easily
accessible and available f or students. Every hostel room accommodates 2 or a maximum of
3 students.
Faculty: As the college is new, it is still recruiting teachers and prof essors f or dif f erent
subjects, so I don't know about new teachers. However, existing prof essors are highly
skilled and experienced enough to resolve all your doubts. Most of the teachers are f rom
IITs and have good working experience and sof t skills.
Other: Annually a sports event and cultural f est are organised. Our college has its own
ground f or outdoor sports. There are no scholarship opportunities f rom college except f or
national and state scholarships.
