Charity Cup scores for St Luke’s
Two giants of the local music scene took on Sheffield’s
sporting giants in the recent Sheffield Wednesday
Charity Cup contest.
Jon McClure, lead singer of Reverend and the Makers, and
Jon Windle, former lead singer of Little Man Tate, took part
in the sporting challenge to raise money for St Luke’s and
the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme.
Members of the public who raised at least £500 could
also take part and play for Wednesday, with full use of the
SWFC’s players facilities and changing rooms, a SWFC kit, a
meal after the game for themselves and a guest in the 1867
suite and a souvenir team photograph with player’s medal.
