Surgery Orthodontics with clear aligners in severe skeletal class III malocclusion

Abstract
Severe skeletal Class III malocclusion can be treated by orthodontic
and orthognathic treatment to achieve satisfied oral function and
facial aesthetics. With no concern about the impact on work and
social activity, clear aligners obviously can improve the life quality
during treatment. The presentation is to share some experiences on
invisible orthodontics treatment and how to effectively communicate
with technicians when using Clincheck, aiming to establish a
systematic method of skeletal Class III case treatment.

Abstract
Patients with periodontitis are very critical situation for
orthodontic treatment. We’ d better to have the patients be
treated by periodontists systematically, followed by orthodontic
treatment. The presentation will focus on how we treat the
patients with periodontitis combined with peridontic and
orthodontic means.

Extraction cases using Invisalign System

Abstract
In the lecture, Professor Lai will first show some extraction
cases (crowding, protrusion, openbite cases) using
traditional attachments, Power arm and G6 Smartforce, then
she will list her thoughts about those cases. At last, she will
try to summarize the tips of extraction cases. With the
improvement and development in materials and techniques,
orthodontists would gain more knowledge and experience,
and Invisalign would become the mainstay orthodontic
treatment in the future.

experience and satisfaction

Abstract
Dr Cordia Lam will talk about her protocols in changing
aligners for Invisalign treatment. Ranging from 2 weeks per
aligner in the past, to 1 week per aligner nowadays, and even
3-4 days per aligner with accelerating device. Clinical cases
will be shown, as well as how patients’ treatment
experience and satisfaction be related will also be discussed.
