H&R MFRC 2021
Here’s to a new year! You may say, the events of 2020 have made
us more resilient (as well as pros at DIY projects and virtual platforms),
We’ve adapted to many changes here at the H&R MFRC, but the one
thing that will never change is our committment to military families.
Since the most recent change, our hours of operation for the Halifax
and Shearwater sites are 9am – 3:30pm. More information can be found
in our Community Update from November 2020 here.
We look forward to spending more time with you (online and in-person)
in 2021.
JANUARY PROGRAMS
January 2021 has many great programs you’re sure to enjoy including
social events, learning opportunities, family support, and more.
With a lot of work from the H&R MFRC Team, we’re able to offer a mixture
of virtual and in-person programs.
We’ll avoid cancellation when possible, but in-person programs could
be cancelled, post-poned, or held virtually because of weather or in
accordance with provincial health guidelines. See you soon!

H&R MFRC’s Electric Avenue!
On Saturday night, February 6, 2021, come on down to the Halifax site, H&R
MFRC for a glow-in-the-dark, wintertime-wellness, fun-for-all-ages, dance-
party under the night sky!
From outdoor fires and free chili and corn bread to hot chocolate and live
demonstrations, there’s something for everyone!
We’re encouraging party-goers to “tail-gate” at your car and set up your
own outdoor camping chairs. Be sure to bundle up for the weather, wear
neon or glow-in-the-dark accoutrements.
There is no cost for this event, however registration is required. Registration
will open in January 2021 so stay connected with us for more information.
Currently, this is an in-person event and we will adhere to all Public Health
safety protocols so that we can have all the fun without all the worry.
