Wednesday 23rd June 2021
Can you find the hidden dinosaurs?
What a fun and exciting experience Miss Taylah had planned for us this
morning to continue on with our interest in dinosaurs. Miss Taylah had
prepared all different cutouts of dinosaurs and had hidden them inside
a container filled with kinetic sand. This experience allowed to the
children to use their recognition, cognitive development, brought them
together as a group and helped them get involved with their senses.
Miss Taylah gathered the children over on the floor where she had the
container filled up, Ethan, Archie, Amal, Isabella, Tiffany, Olivia and Ta-
bitha all quickly gathered around the container. Archie, Tiffany and
Ethan were the first children to reach their hands into the container,
they picked up and squished the kinetic sand between their hands and
watched as it slowly fell through their fingers. It didn't take them to
long to find the little hidden dinosaurs, along with some little eggs,
footprints and volcanos. At first Tabitha and Isabella weren’t overly
interested in the experience, but once Miss Taylah brought the
container a bit closer to them, they dived in and explored the container
for awhile. Olivia was having lots of fun going through all the sand and
picking out all of the hidden dinosaurs.
As tomorrow is out winter snow day, we won’t have a time to sit down
and do a planned activity as we will be having so much fun up in the
big yard, exploring all of the different experiences Mr Shane has planned
for us, but we will continue exploring the very fun and
exciting dinosaurs on Friday.

Spontaneous Play
Today was an amazing, energetic day in the Jellyfish
room, with the children extremely happy and cheerful
all of them really enjoyed their independent time play-
ing with many different toys and heaps of different
friends.
Tabitha was so happy today, giving Miss Zoe heaps of
smiles and giggles as she played peek-a-boo behind the
wooden mirror.
Amal, Ayden and Ethan had so much fun playing with
the bubbles that Miss Taylah brought out. They were
chasing the balloons around and Miss Taylah let them
all have a go at blowing the balloons.
Ariana and Jacqueline were happily sitting with Miss
Alaura, reading many different stories in the reading
corner! Jacqueline loves laying down on our comfy pil-
lows….
Tiffany and Archie were playing in the home corner ar-
ea together, both picking out all the different foods in
the basket and showing each other what they were.
Isabella and Hannah were both so calm this morning
each playing with all the different toys together, they
both especially loved the puzzles.
Olivia was happy doing her own thing this morning, ex-
ploring the classroom she played with many different
toys such as the magnetic sticks and the wooden ob-
stacle course.

BTP SNOW DAY
Don’t forget tomorrow is our very exciting snow day for the
children that attend on Thursdays!!
Please dress in appropriate clothing as it is going to be quite
cold, suggested clothing; Long warm clothes, such as;
trackpants, wooly jumpers, beanie, mittens/gloves, boots & a
scarf if you have one!
Please also don’t forget to pack spare warm clothes for your
child as our experiences consist of snow
and ice!!
