* CALL TO WORSHIP
Worship Leader: How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who
says to Zion, "Your God reigns."

People: Break forth together into singing, you waste places of Jerusalem, for the LORD
has comforted his people; he has redeemed Jerusalem.

Worship Leader: The LORD has bared his holy arm before the eyes of all the nations.

People: And all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
                                                                                      Isaiah 52:7-10

* As Long As You Are Glorified
Music and lyrics by Mark Altrogge.
© 2008 Integrity’s Praise! Music/Sovereign Grace Praise.

1. Shall I take from Your hand Your blessings,
Yet not welcome any pain? CHORUS
Shall I thank You for days of sunshine,
Yet grumble in days of rain? BRIDGE
Shall I love You in times of plenty,                       So quiet my restless heart;
Then leave You in days of drought?                         Quiet my restless heart;
Shall I trust when I reap a harvest, Quiet my restless heart, in You.
But when winter winds blow, then doubt?
                                                           CHORUS
CHORUS
Oh let Your will be done in me;
In Your love I will abide.
Oh I long for nothing else as long,
As You are glorified.

2. Are You good only when I prosper,
And true only when I’m filled?
Are You King only when I’m carefree,
And God only when I’m well?
You are good when I’m poor and needy,
You are true when I’m parched and dry.
You still reign in the deepest valley,
You’re still God in the darkest night.
                                                                                                 3
* Great Is Thy Faithfulness
Music and lyrics by Thomas O. Chisholm,
And William M. Runyan 1923.

1. Great is Thy faithfulness,
O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee.
Thou changest not,
Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.

REFRAIN
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed
Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness,
Lord, unto me!

2. Summer and winter,
And springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

REFRAIN

3. Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence
To cheer and to guide;
Strength for today
And bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine,
With ten thousand beside!

REFRAIN

TAG
All I have needed
Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness,
Lord, unto me!

                                               4
* CONFESSION OF SIN

Worship Leader: There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an
abomination to him.

People: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood.

Worship Leader: A heart that devises wicked plans, and feet that make haste to run
to evil.

People: A false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among
brothers.

Worship Leader: Father, we have ignored your teaching and disregarded your authority. We
are strong-willed children who refuse to listen.

People: But we know that your love is unconditional, because you are our Father.
Show us your grace, and forgive our sins through Jesus Christ. Amen.

                                                             Adapted from Proverbs 6:16-19

SILENT CONFESSION OF SIN
Worship Leader: Lift up your heads, you who are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy
nation, a people for his own possession, and hear these words of grace.

Words of Grace
Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to
the LORD. This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous shall enter through it. I thank you that
you have answered me and have become my salvation.
                                                                            Psalm 118:19-21

                                                                                             5
* Give Me Thy Heart
Lyrics by Eliza E. Hewitt; Music by Blayne Chastain.

1. “Give Me thy heart,”
Says the Father above; 2. “Give Me thy heart,”
No gift so precious to Him as our love. Says the Savior of men,
Softly He whispers, wherever thou art, Calling in mercy again and again.
“Gratefully trust Me, and give Me thy heart.”          “Trust in Me only, I’ll never depart;
                                                       Have I not died for thee?
REFRAIN                                                Give Me thy heart.”
“Give Me thy heart, give me thy heart”—
Hear the soft whisper, wherever thou art. REFRAIN
From this dark world,
He would draw thee apart, 3. “Give Me thy heart,”
Speaking so tenderly,                                  Says the Spirit divine;
“Give Me thy heart.”                                   “All that thou hast to My keeping resign;
                                                       Grace more abounding is Mine to impart;
                                                       Make full surrender and give Me thy heart.”

OFFERING & PASTORAL PRAYER AND LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
       on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
       as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
       but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom
       and the power
       and the glory forever. Amen.

                                        Psalm 146
                               Summer Psalms and Proverbs

1 Praise the LORD!
         Praise the LORD, O my soul!
2 I will praise the LORD as long as I live;
         I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
3 Put not your trust in princes,
         in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.
4   When his breath departs, he returns to the earth;
         on that very day his plans perish.
5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
       whose hope is in the LORD his God,
6 who made heaven and earth,
       the sea, and all that is in them,
who keeps faith forever;
       7 who executes justice for the oppressed,
       who gives food to the hungry.

The LORD sets the prisoners free;
       8 the LORD opens the eyes of the blind.
The LORD lifts up those who are bowed down;
       the LORD loves the righteous.
9 The LORD watches over the sojourners;
       he upholds the widow and the fatherless,
       but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.
10 The LORD will reign forever,
       your God, O Zion, to all generations.
  Praise the LORD!

The Lord’s Supper
Minister: The Lord be with you.

People: And also with you.

Minister: Lift up your hearts.

People: We lift them up to the Lord.

Minister: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

People: It is right to give Him thanks and praise.

Minister: It is indeed good, right, and our delight that we should at all times and in all places
give thanks unto You, O Lord, Holy Father, Almighty, Everlasting God.
                                                                           The Great Thanksgiving

All who trust Christ for salvation and desire to live for him are invited to participate. If that doesn’t
describe you, feel free to sit and reflect on what God may be saying to you through His Word.

Please come forward down the center aisle and return to your seat via the side aisles. Select either
grape juice (in the clear cups) or wine (in the red cups). Gluten-free wafers are
available upon request. After receiving the elements, we return to our seats to partake together.

Children who have not yet made a profession of faith are invited to come forward for prayer at a
prayer station. If your child is ready to profess their faith, please speak with our pastor or one of
the Elders

* Hallelujah, Praise Jehovah
Lyrics by William Kirkpatrick. Music by Darwin Jordan.

1. Hallelujah, praise Jehovah, 4. Hallelujah, praise Jehovah,
O my soul, Jehovah praise;                               O my soul, Jehovah praise;
I will sing the glorious praises I will sing the glorious praises
Of my God through all my days. Of my God through all my days.
Put no confidence in princes, Over all God reigns forever,
Nor for help on man depend;                              Through all ages he is king;
He shall die, to dust returning, Unto him, thy God, O Zion,
And his purposes shall end. Joyful hallelujahs sing.
                                                         Unto him, thy God, O Zion,
2. Happy is the man that chooses Joyful hallelujahs sing.
Israel's God to be his aid;
He is blessed whose hope of blessing
On the Lord his God is stayed.
Heaven and earth the Lord created,
Seas and all that they contain;
He delivers from oppression,
Righteousness he will maintain.

3. Food he daily gives the hungry,
Sets the mourning prisoner free,
Raises those bowed down with anguish,
Makes the sightless eyes to see.
Well Jehovah loves the righteous,
And the stranger he befriends,
Helps the fatherless and widow,
Judgment on the wicked sends.

* Benediction
Leader: The peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

OUTREACH PRAYER FOCUS — Redeemer Longmont, Longmont, CO
Redeemer Longmont was planted last fall by Justin Chapell, who did his church
planting residency at The Table and was part of RMPC’s 2019 Missions Sunday.
Throughout the year, Redeemer Longmont has faced all the expected challenges of a
young church plant as well as the additional challenges of COVID-19 pandemic and the
social restrictions that came with it. Please pray for them as they begin to transition
back to in-person worship. They will be hosting fellowship events and “vision
gatherings” to which they are encouraging members to invite friends, family, neighbors,
and co-workers. Pray that the seed is planted in fertile soil and that the Spirit draws
people to this young church.
