FRENCH COURSE
How to promote language learning for children…
Our qualified professors offer an approach to teaching that awakens and develops
interest in the French language. Professors apply an active learning approach that
encourages acquisition of grammar rules while prioritizing the development of child’s
communication in French through stimulating pedagogic activities.
CLASS STRUCTURE
Standard course
• 20 lessons of ’45 minutes per week
• From Monday to Friday*
• From 9:00 am to 12:30 pm (30 min break)
• 10 students maximum in a class.
* except on the first Monday of their stay which is dedicated to the placement test.
WHERE DO CLASSES TAKE PLACE?
Students take courses in our school "Le Château".

ACCOMMODATION
Students are accommodated in comfortable rooms at our Residence Castel Arabel, which is
located in a quiet, peaceful part of Juan-les-Pins.
HIGHLIGHTS:
CASTEL ARABEL RESIDENCE
Situated in a quiet area between Antibes and Juan-les-Pins:
• 10 minutes by walk from the beaches and the centre of Juan-les-Pins.
• On site: outdoor swimming pool and large terraces.
• Full Board: breakfast and dinner are served at the residence from Monday to Sunday. Lunch is served at the
school. At the weekend, picnic lunches are provided for excursions or free days.
• Accommodation in shared (2-4 students) room with private bathroom and air-conditioning.
IMPORTANT NOTES
• Bed sheets are supplied for the duration of your stay and are changed every week. Towels are not provided.
• Light housekeeping is carried out daily, and a thorough clean is done once a week.
Students are required to keep their rooms and facilities clean and tidy.

ONE FULL-DAY EXCURSION per week (at the weekend)
NICE AND TREASURE HUNT
The students will love the labyrinth of the small streets of the old town to discover the Provencal style. The
best place to organize a big treasure hunt. The visit lasts 1 hour and includes: Place Massena, the Promenade
des Anglais, the old town and its shops, the Cours Saleya...

AQUASPLASH
Aquasplash is a water park offering 25 attractions and more than 2,000 metres of rides, including giant slides,
tunnels through which you travel in a boat in complete darkness, rubber rings, a wave pool, and all kinds of
water games. An unforgettable and refreshing day!

FUN PARK
A theme park including different water attractions and inflatable structures for kids to play!

POOL CLUB TRAMPOLINE PARK
ONE HALF-DAY EXCURSION per week
CANNES
Famous for its luxury hotels, red carpet film festivals, and attracting a celebrity/international crowd each year.
The visit lasts about 1h and includes a stroll through the old town, the “Suquet” mountain with the
sightseeing, the Film Festival Palace, the harbour and the “Croisette” beach.

MONACO AND THE OCEANOGRAPHIC MUSEUM
The Principality of Monaco is a city of beauty and royalty. Kids will love the Oceanographic Museum with
dozens of tanks featuring all sorts of aquatic creatures from the ocean.
The tour includes the visit of the royal palaces, the cathedral, the Royal Gardens, and the Oceanographic
Museum.

GRASSE, FRAGONARD AND FLORIAN
• Visit of a perfume factory: Grasse is the perfume capital of the world, it dominates vast plains perfumed
by the roses, jasmine and olive trees, making this city popular all around the world.
The excursion to Grasse includes the visit of a perfumery led by a professional guide and expert
in perfumery and its history. After discovering the manufacturing techniques (from flower picking to
packaging) and history of the precious elixirs, kids can test their nose with an olfactory game. Then
they will visit the city with the cathedral.
• Confiserie Florian: This artisanal confectionery, located in the heart of the Gorges du Loup, makes
discover the making candies from the flowers of the region: violets, roses, poppies etc.
During the visit, the guide explains the manufacturing processes by showing the crystallization of
the flowers and visit the workshops. The tour ends with a tasting of all the products marketed by this
confectionery. Kids spend 1h30 in each factory and then they have about 30 minutes to visit the old
town of Grasse.
ONE AFTERNOON ON POOL CLUB OR INFLATABLE PARK:
An afternoon at a watersports center and pool club, students will combine both relaxation and adrenaline with
our proposed water tubing sessions.
TWO HALF-DAY ACTIVITIES per week
Two afternoons per week, supervised by our staff or specialist instructors, depending on the activity.
The weekly programme may include such activities as sailing or visit of Marineland, trampoline park, bowling,
and sports games.
EVENING ENTERTAINMENT
Barbecue night, games, blind test, dance, beach party etc.

SECURITY AND SUPERVISION
• Students are supervised by our monitors who are on the premises round the clock and ready to help and give
information.
• Security 24/7.
• There is one supervisor for every 8 students (mandatory ratio in France).
• Students do not have authorization to go out without supervision.
• Animations are organized on campus during their free periods other than the planned activities and excursions.
