The Accreditation Office is located at the Regatta Course on the grand floor of the grandstand.
At the Accreditation Centre all previously registered athletes and accompanying persons receive:
- a wristband for the competition days which provides access to the athletes’ area
- lunch tickets for Thursday and Friday
- T-shirt
- wristband for the banquet on Thursday
- wristband for camping for athletes who booked camping services
Accepted methods of payment: only cash (€)
Remark!
The Organising Committee accepts on-site entry exclusively in the event if the inclusion of the new
entry does not result in the amendment of the competition program. On-site registration and entry
are possible upon paying the extra administration fee of 15,000 HUF or 50 Euros on top of the
regular entry fee on 28 August 2019 between 09.00 and 14.00 hrs at the registration office. The races
are completed in the order entries come in. The Organizing Committee will not accept any changes
to entries on the spot.
ACCREDITATION ZONES
There are two accreditation zones: the athlete’s area and the camping.
Entry to the athletes’ area: RED wristband and GOLD (CAMPING) wristband
Entry to camping: GOLD (CAMPING) wristband only
Entering the grandstand as a spectator is free
MEALS (lunch)
Registered participants and accompanying persons of the event can have lunch at the Regatta Course
in the restaurant, in the middle of boathouse on Thursday and Friday from 11:00-14:30 by showing
their lunch ticket.HEALTH APTITUDE Each competitor is liable for his/her own health and preparation to be able to attend the race. By registering to the race the participants give a declaration on their health condition as detailed in the General Terms and Conditions. The Organising Committee does not take any liability for any damage to health and its consequence which occur due to the competitor’s health condition. RESULTS and START LISTS You can find the table of start list and results on the wall of the boathouse behind the boat control tent. You can find the live start list and results at masters-results.szeged2019.com. BOAT STORAGE, BOAT RENTAL Covered boat racks are provided in the boathouse in the Athletes’ Area. You are requested to take your trailers to the parking area behind the boathouse after unloading the boats. Those who requested rental boats will have to pay both the rental price and the deposit (in cash) at the accreditation centre. Only after settling the balance will they receive the voucher for the boat. The security deposit is €200 for single boats, €400 for double boats and €600 for K4s and C4s. When you return the boat intact, you will get a voucher and get the deposit fully refunded. Any damage to the boat or any missing part will be deducted from the deposit amount. START NUMBERS The start numbers can be collected one hour before the competition at the designated place in the Athletes’ Area. A 5-euro deposit will be charged, which will be refunded when you bring the start numbers back. You are allowed to use your own start number. POST-RACE (SECOND) BOAT CONTROL After the race some boats will be called for a second boat control. The athletes chosen must disembark onto the designated place where their boat will go under control. The start numbers of the boats appointed for boat control will be displayed on the board next to the boat control tent. OFFICIAL TRAINING AND STARTING MACHINE TEST 28th August (Wednesday) 09:00-12:00 / 13:00-17:30 hours There is one way traffic on the water during training and the competition too. Athletes are requested to use the channel behind the dividing isle to paddle up to the start. The regatta course can be reached through the cuts above the 500m, 1000m and 2000m starts. From there traffic goes in the direction of the Finish Tower. During training times athletes will have the opportunity to test the starting machine at 200m 10:00- 11:00 / 16:00-17:00 hours. Water rescue service is present on the regatta course one hour before the first start and half an hour after the last start and during official training hours. TEAM LEADERS’, PARTICIPANTS MEETING DATE: 28th of August (Wednesday) at 18:00 LOCATION: Regatta Course, Grandstand. PLEASE NOTE: This is when you receive the most important pieces of information regarding the event by the Organizers.
BANQUET DATE: 29th of August (Thursday) 19:30-23:00 hours LOCATION: the first and second floor of the building between the athletes’ area and the Finish Tower. All registered athletes and registered accompanying persons (who have a wristband) are invited to a dinner and a party after. CAMPING You can find the entrance of the camping directly at the course at the 250m start line. Entering the camping is only possible with a camping (gold) wristband received at the accreditation centre. SHUTTLE A shuttle bus line is running on schedule between the Regatta Course and the City. You can find the route, stops and schedule in the appendix. MEDAL AWARDING CEREMONIES For athletes finishing 1-3. place, victory ceremonies will start at their officially scheduled time sharp. We kindly ask you to be present at least 10 minutes prior the scheduled time between the Finish Tower and the grandstand. In case any athlete arrives late to the meeting point, ceremony will start by the schedule without him/her. MEDICAL CARE During the official training period and competition times first aid service is available to all registered athletes and registered accompanying persons free of charge. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for covering your expenses in connection with hospital treatment, dental treatment or any other medical treatment.
