ORGANIZATION
The EUROPEAN YOUTH CUP LEAD & SPEED 2021 in Zilina (Slovakia) is organized by the Slovak
Mountaineering Union JAMES (www.james.sk) and it´s member club LA SKALA (www.laskala.sk).
The EYC LEAD & SPEED is allocated by the IFSC Europe in accordance with the IFSC general and
discipline regulations and the European Youth Cup discipline rules.

TEAM QUOTAS & RULES
LICENSES
Only competitors and team officials holding a valid IFSC international license are allowed to register for the
competition.
REGISTRATION OF TEAM OFFICIALS AND COMPETITORS
7.2.2 Member Federations may register, within statutory deadlines, team officials for one of the
following roles:
(a) One (1) Head of Delegation
(b) Up to three (3) coaches per discipline;
(c) Up to three (3) qualified medical or para-medical personnel.
TEAM QUOTA
7.2.3 Member Federations may register as competitors:
(a) any current youth European Champions in both discipline (from EYCH Perm 2021)
(b) up to three (3) competitors for each Category in each relevant discipline; and
(c) the host federation shall be entitled to register an additional two (2) competitors in each
Category for each relevant discipline.

REGISTRATION FEES
Euro 25,- for each competitor. The Registration fee will by invoiced by the IFSC Europe to the National
Federations. No cash-payments will be done on site.
For the registration on Wednesday 28th of July 2021 it is necessary for all team managers to show the
passports or ID-cards (or copies) of their competitors. Note: Only 1 Team Official per Teams allowed to join
the Registration and the Technical Meeting for safety reasons with regards to COVID-19

This timetable is only provisional and subject to change any time by the organisers. Final timings will be confirmed at the t echnical
meeting.
FURTHER INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19 MEASURES:
(1*) Entry into the territory of Slovakia is allowed for:
▪ persons entering the territory of the Slovak Republic who are able to prove a negative result of the
COVID-19 RT-PCR test which is valid 72 hours
▪ persons who are between 21-90 days after vaccination with a two-dose vaccine when the second dose
has not yet been given
▪ persons who are between 21 days and 12 months after the first dose of the two-dose vaccination, when
the second dose has been given already
▪ persons who are between 21 days and 12 months after a single-dose vaccination
▪ persons who are between 21 days and 12 months after any-dose vaccination, when the first dose has
been given within 180 days after overcome the COVID-19
▪ persons who have already overcome the COVID-19 180 days before entry
▪ persons under 12 years old
Slovakia recognizes vaccination with Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and
Sputnik. Sinopharm vaccine is also expected to be recognized in the near future.
(2*) It is also necessary when entering the territory of Slovakia:
▪ Register on https://korona.gov.sk/en/ehranica/ (english) at the latest immediately upon entering the
Slovak Republic
▪ For persons arriving by plain its also necessary to fill on-line form on website MDV SR - COV2: Forms
(mindop.sk) (english)Additional regulation
▪ it is necessary to own a respirator with FFP2 protection for the event and have it with the exception of
performing sports
▪ drinking and eating indoors is prohibited
▪ tests are accepted in languages: Slovak, English, German
▪ self-tests are not allowed
In case of COVID-19 test expiration, it is possible to provide testing here PCR covid test Žilina pre
samoplatcov - objednanie (rychlotest-covid.sk), which is about 300m from the venue
1. Enter to Slovakia
You need to enter to Slovakia (and can be controlled by officers at the border line) these requirements:
a. one of the documents confirm point (1*) – printed
b. registration marked as (2*) – printed for every person separately
c. Supporting statement of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak
Republic – this statement will be sent to term 16th July 2021 to IFSC Europe, eventually to all
European Associations separately. This statement will give you possibility move on state
territory of Slovakia without any quarantine !!! – print it for every person separately
All these requirements you can prepare at home already.
2. Enter to Competition Venue (for participants and spectators as well)
You need to enter to Competition Venue
a. One of the documents confirm point (1*) – printed or
b. Antigen negative COVID-19 test which is valid 24 hours

Recommended procedure for a simple stay in Slovakia
As we try to prepare the best conditions for as simple a stay as possible for athletes, team members and team
officials, we have used all of the opportunities given by the Ministry of Education of the Slovak republic and the
Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic.
According to the agreements with the named institutions we recommend to take PCR test during your stay in
Slovakia during Tuesday, July 27, 2021 or Wednesday July 28, 2021, anywhere in the European Union. The
test obtained this way will be valid for you both when entering Slovakia and the Competition Venue !!!
