James is the principal architect of Ogier’s Cayman funds practice and has
operated in this market since 1991, forging strong links with managers and
with funds partners at leading law firms in key onshore financial centres. He
also has extensive experience in all types of general corporate law including
the laws relating to large infrastructure projects in the Cayman Islands.
He is currently the Chairman of the Health Appeals Tribunal and is a
member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple of England and
Wales as well as a Notary Public in the Cayman Islands.

Giorgio Subiotto is Head of Ogier's Global Latin American practice and has
been a partner at Ogier since 2006.
His investment funds practice focuses on the establishment of, and on-

experience in the Cayman Islands funds market spans the whole spectrum

investments. Her experiences covers a broad range of strategies and

funds. Kate is also one of a small group of offshore lawyers with a significant
Japan practice, advising Japanese managers on establishing Cayman
Islands unit trust fund structures and GP/LP closed ended fund structures.
