Life Community Services Society (LCSS) is a faith-based Singapore registered charity with a
mission to empower children and families through care and mentoring. Established in 1996, it has
been reaching out to the community through its six core programmes including Friends of Children
and Youth, MightyKids, Families and Community, Life Student Care, EduGrow for Brighter
Tomorrows and KidStart. Today, it serves over 1,000 clients, aged 1-19 and their families with the
majority coming from low-income or dysfunctional families. It operates seven centres across
Singapore and is a leading organization in helping children with parent/s who is/are in prison.
Believing that all children and youths regardless of race, language or religion are precious in the
eyes of God, Life Community entrusts its resources to help the children and youths with the aim of
developing them to their fullest potential so that they can be responsible and contributing members
of our society.
For the year 2019, we hope to raise $300,000 through our Golf for Life which is our primary
fundraising event to defray the cost of helping the children and youths who are in need. For us to
achieve the $300,000 target, we need to have at least: 2 Diamond packages ($25,000 each), 10
Sapphire packages ($12,000 each) and 10 Ruby packages ($5,000 each) sold. Please support us
in getting these packages, as well as the Emerald package ($3,000 each). If you don’t golf, please
support us by buying a dinner table ($2,000 each) or simply donate any amount for this great cause!
It’s going to be a memorable event, where we promise a night to remember, with our Theme: “Balik
Kampung” – To remember our humble beginnings. This is a time for us to reminisce on our own
growing up years and to witness a brighter childhood of our beneficiaries, made possible through
your generous support; it’s a very meaningful one where you make a difference to our children and
youths by being here, supporting and cheering them on as they give you their best performances
of song and dance etc.
We humbly appeal to you to support us and ask for your generous and kind donation in any of the
following ways: (1) take up a spot to golf with our Guest of Honour (2) take up a flight package, (3)
sponsor a dinner table and/or (4) make a generous cash donation. Please help us to help the
children and youths in need.
