The Illinois Lottery recognizes the work of our sales representatives who are out all
across the State, keeping our retail partners up to date on everything lottery. Keith
Reichert of Springfield, IL is one of them.
Keith has been a Lottery Sales Rep for 8 years and has been with the Illinois Lottery
for 11 years. He works with retailers in Springfield and its surrounding counties.

THREE WINNERS
TOOK HOME $1 MILLION!
Two $1 million winning Lotto tickets were sold in
Chicagoland over a five day period: one at
King Supermarket on East 41st St. in Chicago,
the other at Johnsons Lighthouse Pointe and Car
Wash on West St. Charles Rd. in Villa Park. Both
retailers will receive a bonus of $10,000 for
selling winning tickets.
This is the second time that the Villa Park retailer
has sold a big winning Lottery ticket. In 2004,
the convenience store sold a winning $1 million
Instant Ticket. Joel Johnson, store manager of
the family-owned business in Villa Park, said this
time around, their family plans to pay bills and
share the winnings with staff.
“The selling bonus couldn’t have come at a better
time,” said Johnson. “We’re going to use the

A $1 million winning Lotto ticket was

Bolingbrook, IL. Dashank Desai,
co-owner of the liquor store, said he
knew who bought the winning ticket.
“The customer was in our store when an

us that we sold a $1 million winning Lotto
ticket,” said Desai. “The customer then
called someone on the phone, read out
loud the winning Lotto numbers, then
blurted out that they matched all of
the numbers.” When asked about the
customer’s winning reaction, Desai said,
“The customer was speechless; I think
