2020 excursions had to unfortunately be cancelled due to COVID-19.
This has been tough on the travel industry.

The market is in the heart of Norwich on John Constable was born in East Bergholt and
Gentleman’s Walk and within walking so it is appropriate that we begin our guided
distance of the castle. tour here and take the opportunity to see the
very unusual way the bells are rung at the
village church. We will then proceed to
Flatford Mill to discover the views that John
Constable painted. Here our Blue Badge
Guide will take us on a short, optional guided
walk to see the scenes of four of John
Constable’s paintings including the site of the
famous Haywain. Our final destination of the
day will be Dedham, a very attractive village
on the Essex/Suffolk border. Dedham’s
beautiful main street is lined with Georgian
fronted houses alongside old inns, tea rooms,
a large arts/crafts centre and an impressive
15th century church. An optional short
guided tour will be offered at Dedham.
