Itinerary
Day 1 - Individual arrival (arrival also in Salzburg possible + train transport to Krimml)
If you bring your own bikes, we advise an arrival in Krimml. If you book rental bikes, an arrival to Salzburg is
planned and the train transport (extra charge) is mandatory. Check-in at your hotel and handover of your
travel documents for the Tauern short cycle path. Example of hotel: Gästehaus Edelweiß***in Krimml
Day 2 - Krimml – Zell am See/Kaprun, approx. 65 km
The Tauern cycle path starts on the foot of Europe's largest waterfalls. The snowy mountain peaks
accompany you during this great cycle route through the Pinzgau valley. Lush green meadows, lovely
farmhouses and picturesque villages await you. At the end of the day, enjoy a swim in the crystal clear
water of Lake Zeller See located admits the mountains Kitzsteinhorn and Großglockner. Example of hotel:

Day 3 - Zell am See/Kaprun - Lofer, ca. 40 km
Leaving the cycle path along the River Salzach behind, continue your cycle tour in Austria through the
wide valley of the Saalachtal. After Saalfelden the mountains come closer. We recommend a side trip
either to the Vorderkaserklamm ravine or to the Lamprechtshöhle cave. Example of hotel: Hotel Dankl***

Day 4 - Lofer - Salzburg, approx. 45 km
Leaving Lofer you cycle close the riverside of the River Saalach via the “green border” to the Bavarian Bad
Reichenhall and back in Austria, you soon reach the city of culture and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's
birthplace, Salzburg. Example of hotel: Hotel Amedia**** in SalzburgDay 5 - Individual departure or extra nights Details and cancellation Information Coronavirus – Security for your booking: Free cancellation option If you decide and book a trip early, but do not want to travel due to the coronavirus, you can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before departure. You will not pay any booking or cancellation fees. Travel warning We are constantly monitoring the current situation and will inform you in case of travel changes. If an official travel warning is issued for your destination or you are unable to enter or leave the country, your trip will be cancelled or rebooked free of charge. No payments until 4 weeks before arrival You do not have to make any advance payments until 4 weeks before arrival. Note for people with limited mobility The cycle tour is not suitable for people with limited mobility. However, in specific cases it is possible to accommodate individual customer requests (e.g. barrier-free room). Passport and visa requirements To check in to your hotel you will need a valid passport or ID card. For citizens of countries outside the Schengen area other regulations may apply. You are responsible for obtaining any visa you may require in good time. Terms and Conditions of Payment: You do not have to make any advance payments to us up to 4 weeks before departure. Please mind the payment conditions in your booking confirmation/invoice. Cancellation Policy: According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer may withdraw from the contract at any time in writing. In the event of cancellation or non-commencement of travel, the following cancellation fees will become payable: 20% of the tour price up to 28 days before arrival date 30% of the tour price from 27th to 14th day before arrival date 50% of the tour price from 13th to 8th day before arrival date 70% of the tour price from 7th to 4th day before arrival date 90% of the tour price from 3rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival or “no show” In case the booking is changed from the customer himself (change of date, duration of the tour or participant) up to 28 days prior arrival, a handling fee of € 50,- per booking is charged. Thereafter the previous cancellation conditions apply. Such a change of booking is only in individual cases a possibility customers do not have a claim on it. In case of a booking your announced data will be only used from OÖ Touristik GmbH for the process of bookings and related transactions and will be passed on only in the context of the contractual relationship to third parties.
