May 2021 Once again we are preparing to close out another school year. It has been a most rewarding year in so many ways. I would like to say thank you to all the students, parents, and teachers. The year brought many unknowns and present- ed challenges that we overcame together. I wish our 4th grade students suc- cess as they move to the Intermediate School. The last day of school is scheduled for Wednesday, May 19th with an early dismissal time of 1:00. As the year comes to a close, each grade level is busy bringing closure to their classrooms with end of the year activities and projects. Have a safe and adventurous summer. We look forward to seeing you in August!

the 2021/22 school year.Medica on Renewal for 2021‐22 School Year
If your child will require medica on to be given at school next year, appropriate forms should be
completed and returned to the office before the first day of school. These forms are available and can be
downloaded from the school website, www.brandonvalley.k12.sd.us, by clicking on “parents”, followed by
“school nurse” and then scroll down to Health Forms.
All prescrip on and over the counter medica on that needs to be given daily or as needed requires

along with the medica on to the nurse’s office before the first day of school.
Any over‐the‐counter medica ons must be accompanied by a Medica on Consent Form, signed by
a parent. This is required for medica ons to be given as needed or for prescrip on medica ons that will be
taken for two weeks or less such as an bio cs, eye drops, etc.
Please email Nurse Melissa at melissa.garrow@k12.sd.us if you have any ques ons. Looking for‐

On the first Friday in May, Let’s all celebrate the men and women who make our school
