My Beloved Brothers in the Lord,
I greet you with love and joy in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ, and I pray that our journey through Holy Week is one of peaceful
spiritual contemplation.
In anticipation of the glorious Feast of Pascha, I offer His Eminence
Archbishop Elpidophoros's encyclical, to be placed in your parish bulletins,
and to be read for the edification of our parishioners on the Feast of the

We live in a physical world that places great value on
material possessions. Material possessions and wealth may
bring power and status. But wealth and possessions can
be fleeting. Circumstances change. It is the voice of Jesus
Christ and the truth of His Gospel that remain constant.
In our spiritual relationship with our Creator, we realize
that we are called to be good stewards of His creation. And as stewards of His
Gospel, we are called to use our material, worldly possessions to meet the needs of
others.
Your stewardship to Holy Trinity goes to support the
following ministries and programs of the church.
Adult Spiritual Enrichment, Bible Study, Bereavement & Senior Caregiving, Gift Shop & Bookstore,
Meals for Moms, Orthodoxy 101, Premarital Seminars, Society of Wisdom, The Hellenic Dance
Program, Catechetical School, GOYA, The Good Samaritan Society, Hellenic Academy, HOPE/
JOY, Missions Ministry, St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival, Youth Choir, and Vacation Bible
School.
We should not depend on special affairs to meet our budget, for this is our direct responsibility. Stewardship
places the responsibility on us, for we are the recipients of God’s gifts and play an active role in perpetuating
His work of salvation. The expenses of our Parish are vital to our Church for keeping in touch with you,
maintaining our buildings, supporting those who serve us, worship and educational programs, as well as
our national ministries commitments.
